I have been waiting anxiously for the lg g3 Marshmallow update in Nigeria. I checked OTA and via lg pc suite, but it says i already have the latest version (android 5.0). Please guys when will Nigeria lg g3 users get their update ? Cant wait!

Sudhi, 16 Apr 2016How u updated the g3 to 6.0I managed to update by connecting the phone to a computer and using LG PC Suite (if I tried to update from the phone itself, it would say I already had the latest version installed). Make sure to save your data (e.g. messages, contacts..) if you're planning to do a clean install.

Can you set the resolution manually (2 MP, 5 MP, 8 MP, 10 MP wide, 640x480, 1280x720, 1920x1080 etc) for photos and videos in android 6.0?. I mean unrooted form with official 6.0 upgrade (not manually flashed) via LG update app or LG PC suite.

AnonD-20890, 15 Apr 2016I am also waiting for official upgrade from LG for my D855 ... moreHi, I updated to Marshmallow and it seems OK, UI is same as before but Icon and Fonts are little small and sharp. very fluid and no problem till now. it is faster than Lollipop and rest We'll update later.

Hello Sudhakar,
I think you are using the Note 4 as well as I saw some comment on Note 4 section also from you. I updated My Note 4 Yesterday and Today I would like to Update my LG G3 D855 Model.
could you please tell me if it is worth to upgrade to Marshmallow as I bought the Mobile from India only and officially I did not see any Marshmallow update from LG.
Already Downloaded the file from XDA but would like to know if there is any major change after updating to Marshmallow unlike Samsung Note 4.

Do not blindly post about 6.0 just to create publicity.
Mention the following details :
> The current OS version number in full (like android 5.0 v21a-AME-XX)
> Where (country) was the mobile phone bought?
> Where (country) is the mobile phone being currently used?
> If the mobile phone is being used in a different country than it is bought, then have the mobiles bought within that different country got upgraded to 6.0?
> Is the phone rooted or not?
> How did you upgrade?. Via OTA notification or via LG pc suite?
> What is the full model number of G3 (D855 etc) mobile phone?
> What is the full OS version number after upgrading?

After the marshmallow 6.0 upgrade this phone is the dogs and even better if you have an LG smart tv. plug your phone into your laptop.open LG pc suite and click on "check for upgrade" like putting a turbo in the phone!!!Ireland
