I'm using a T-mobile version of the LG G3 D851 and I'm stuck with android 4.4.2 when i check for update, i receive an update 154.6MB i installed it and it said system up to date! Later i got the same update again, i did it and it came again till i realize it reverts back to default when the phone goes off..... Like battery low and off! Now pls can somebody help me how to get the official update to android 5.0 or 5.1 if any? Pls i need help...

I have the 32GB version of the LG G3 D855 with stock firmware (V21a) running Lollipop. I have already downloaded the drivers, flash tool and the kdz file. I went through a lot of the tutorials online but couldn't find the answers to these questions. So help me out
1) What's the difference between DIAG and CS_EMERGENCY? Some sites tell us to leave it in default which is DIAG and some say to change it to CS_EMRGENCY. So what exactly does this do?
2) Will i loose all my data and go back to factory settings if i update using kdz? I know i need to use the "Normal flash" option cuz my phone runs on stock, but will this keep all my apps and data like an OTA would?
3)I downloaded everything from this site (http://androidadvices.com/manual-update-lg-g3-with-official-android-6-0-marshmallow-os-guide/). They say to downlaod and install the drivers.. The driver comes in the form of "downloader.dev" and is around 12mb..
How to install this??
4)Did the kdz file ever get updated with any monthly patches or anything after it's first release in december? Or after anyone updated using the kdz file did u get any updates?

i have received a notification for marshmallow update on my LG G3 d855
i have three option, Download, Later, Cancel.
I click cancel by mistake, now I can't find any updates, he told me, no update was found. :(
how i can find my update ??? please help me

AnonD-237389, 23 Mar 2016S5 has better battery, better screen in terms of colors and... moreit all comes down to personal experience and for your information, in many tops involving both S5 and Lg G3, the Lg came above S5; true, for some users, battery life could be an important fact, but bare in mind that the QHD display of the Lg draws a lot of power but also gives you (as a user) an awesome experience; other than that, my Lg battery takes me most of the time 2 days (medium internet, mail, news, muzic, watching movies) and since 3 days ago, since I've installed MM, the overall experience of the phone has improved greatly.

Be careful what you wish for. I received MM update on my European international unlocked LG G3 d855 16gb overnight here in France. My phone is now in a boot loop, alternating between the LG logo and the "optimizing apps" screen. No combination of button pressing jolts the phone out of it. The phone has had a fairly recent reset, was working perfectly, had very few apps, no weird mods etc. WTF? I've been looking around for solutions, but so far nothing works. Any idea how to reach Recovery? pressing vol down and power buttons together does nothing.

guys i got my lg g3 d855 marshmallow update last night.after i downloaded it and installed most of the apps didn't work.it says that unfortunately stopped working(eg: messaging app,mxplayer etc...).sometimes play store are also not working.the battery dries more than in lollipop.if u have any suggestions to overcome the above problem please tell

I have just updated my LG G3 to M and so far I can say that it runs smother and its really better feeling right now. Only thing what I couldnt find how to change is setting about turning off screen animation. Does anyone know how to change this seting? Thanks!

Just bought a G3 as a backup phone whilst my Note 4 is in repair. Had one before and I had forgotten what a great phone the G3 is. Surprised that even after a few firmware updates, it is still stuck on Android 5.0.0, whilst my Note 4 was on the fluid and stable 5.1.1. Anyone know when we people in the UK get anything more recent for the G3?
