Hello everybody i got lgg3 yesterday it's good with some heating in charging or if i put screen on highway lighting does someone facing the same? And i read about Mcafee antivirus that prevent making format factory for the phone if its stolen dose some know how? Thanks alot for helping 😄

the downside for this cellphone is that it has no manual setting in camera, only auto..not flexible against sunlight camera shots..

A H M, 25 Feb 2016When will be Marshmallow available here in KSA ?? And i am ... moreReboot is not an issue of software. I also faced that and after a lot of research and applying different fixed i found that its battery connector issue.
There can be dust present between battery connectors and connection pin inside mobile device.
Here is what worked for me:
First of all hard factory reset your phone using power button and volume down (You can search complete hard reset method on internet). Plug in your phone charger during that process. When reset is complete turn off the set and open its back. Take out the battery. Gently clean battery connectors with soft cotton cloth and if possible clean it using nail polish remover. Do the same with connector Pins attached inside the phone where you have to connect the battery. After doing this leave it as it is for 20-30 seconds.
Now put the battery again and apply some little pressure on the battery downword so that it firmly fix with the connectors.
Again plug the charger and then turn on your device.
After this method my phone is now working fine and no reboot and random shutdown issue.

1 minute of 720p camera video at 30 fps takes 88 MB in G3 D855, 62 MB in Nokia N8 and 51 MB in Nokia 808. Does anyone know why?.

Using it for months on daily bases and have no such issues. It doesn't heat much more than any other phone when using it for gaming etc. and of course, if you use it to run multiple apps and run games battery will drain lol...

Hello there guys !
i bought a new phone online (first one i buy)
Lg g3 D855 and it looks great . Android version 4.4.2 Kitkat.
kernel version : 3.4.0
software version : g3 by XMX
I noticed that i dont have the update center at my settings, and i cant upgrade to better android versions. i tryed also with lg pc suite program but it says this is the latest version by XMX. does anyone knows how to get the update center on the settings menu or if its safe for me to go for a manual update to lollipop ?

I have been using the LG G3 phone for last 8 months and I would like to share my experience.
I bought it from Hongkong and initially I was keen on Samsung note but the shopkeeper somehow convinced me that this one has got the parallel specification. I did the research there and also figured out that this was somewhat true. This was bought as my 2nd phone as primarily I was using iphone5s.
The initial 2 months it was fine as I hardly use it at a daily basis, but then I changed it as my primary phone as I need the double sim option. Problem starts there. The phone gets heated, sometime it makes me scared really hot that I need to switch it off. It hangs frequently while using more than 3 apps. The battery drains out in half day. Responsiveness is hell you click to call someone and it will lag for 3 sec (unbelievable performance out of a 3gb RAM)
I have followed GSM arena from the time I am using Nokia products, hence I find myself responsible to aware the GSM arena users about this phone. It's a terrible product please stay away from it. Some review sites give good reviews in exchange of money from the manufacturer. Please don't be fooled! Never go for LG, they s****.
