I received the phone today (D858HK).
I'm a bit disappointed:
-LTE not working even the phone supports band 3 1800Mhz, and Vodafone IE as well.
-Was very surprised when I saw it has Android 4.4.2. Much more surprising that is has no update yet (checked with LGMobileSupportTool.exe).
Is it true?? No Android 5 available?
In the other hand, the phone is excellent: fast, light weight, beautiful display, very good camera, etc... everything else are above the expectations.

I dont use D856 model so i am not liable to the answer all the questions for this model!
I use D850, D855 and D858. ask me any question related to these models. even i know how to root LG with simple tricks :) thanks

i occur the same problem when i ported out my sim from the jack when my phone was open!
try to reboot your phone and put your sim in SIM 1 not SIM 2. sim 2 doesnt have 2G/3G/4G option

Me too having the same problem. I can't switch to any network mode. My network mode says GSM only. I tried many times to switch to gsm/wcdma/lte auto but still it says gsm only. is there any chance i can switch gsm only to gsm/wcdma/lte?

Hi Abbas,
I am only able to use the data in GSM only mode. Its not getting changed to auto mode even if I am selecting the radio button.
Please could you help me out.

BTW my LGG3D858HK is still running on kitkat. Is there any OTA upgrade possible?

Upgraded via the method Abbass told me... specially came back to say thank you :) there is no doubt its a lot better than kitkat thumbsup for a great effort!
