Please do not buy this phone i bought this phone year ago and and right after 11 months it has a problem of logo hang its a manufacturing fault this not only happened to me the same problem happened with three of my friends we all are very disopointed with this device

I honestly dont like this phone it heats up easily and dies fast samsung is way better

Use LG Bridge and select update restore option at software update section. This will help. Also at faulty updates phone heats up extremely too much, which also cause very high battery consumption. If you keep using it like that it will also damage mainboard and your phone will never open again.

I have to re comment,the battery suxks, it loses one percent every 2 minutes. Brighness is 35% on wifi only, sync is off, location is on battery saving, restrict background data. This isn't normal, right?

I just received a small update 60 MB today, I'm in Egypt. phone bought from Saudi Arabia. Can some one tell me what that update does? What will be better? I feel my g4 gets hot always at 40 C and battery isn't good, moderate use only gets me 6-7 hours.

Hello, i have a sprint lg under lollipop, but when i type all the secret codes such as * # 06 # nothing happens, so no codes work for it. In conclusion i'll like to know of it is a fake one..thanks everyone

worst mobile please dont go for it and don't waste the money. for a formalty they inform warranty insurance and all but this all fake worst customer service and battery life toooo.

AnonD-237389, 26 May 2016I will suggest galaxy note5 too, its a briliant phone,but k... moreThanks for your suggestion but as I said earlier AMOLEDs are Power efficient,and has punchy colors but they have major flaw which has not rectified till date and that is Pixel Burn in.I prefer IPS LCD on AMOLED... May I got GALAXY S7 or Note 6 ( just because of its camera and hardware) next year as I always buy phone after a year of it release because of two things firstly because after year price drops down almost 25-50%, secondly I can figure out easily if there is some manufacturing defect in device (like first batch of LG brand always has) ,or any Cons/issues that have encountered to owners in that particular year. and example is in front of you LG G3 has Chassis cracking issue, and now LG G4 has Boot loop issue.GOD Bless you all owners of LG Smartphones.I hope and I pray LG G5 may live longer without any issues...
So right now I am considering LG G4 (It is really solide phone never breaks easily i have watched its test,but the major boot loop issue and its camera lacks in video department ois wobbly effect,Battery department), I have disregard Z3 (Because of its CAMERA PINK dot issue),Z5 compact, XPERIA Z5 regular ( SD 810 heating scares me),I was considering Nexus 6p but AMOLED is deal breaker for me (I will be ok with 32-64 GB internal memory + USB OTG support if there is no SD card Slot),Nexus 5X (but it is also from LG (just kidding)),I really messed up by all these brands.So help me dear... :)

MAN OF PEACE, 26 May 2016Any how I am not that person who just follows numbers.... I... moreI will suggest galaxy note5 too, its a briliant phone,but keep in mind that it dosent support sd card (its so important for me), i say z5p has better screen( i compared them hundred times)
Note 5 screen is amazing too but premium is extremly good, for performance both are excellent but sony ui is lighter and you feel its faster,about camera z5p resolve more detalis in center due to much higher resolution but note5 had edge to edge sharpnes,
Note 5 heat up less than z5, it takes more time for note 5 to heat up.
For battery both are very good but note has a little advantage here,
So you can consider note5 too
