I had this device for 1 year and gave it away as a present. The battery problem was getting out of hand. The phone has an excellent display and camera setup, but the battery couldn't handle the Snapdragon and the extreme display.
In result to that in summer days using navigation in the car led to overheating and the phone was switching off by itself to cool down.
Battery life is a nightmare, never was able to get a day long experience without charging.

Never had over heating issues apart from playing games which is normal in all devices. First it starts acting strange when i try to use camera flash as torch and after few weeks camera stop working and then after few weeks my screen shows garbage characters and then bootloop starts couple of times and then it turns off and never recovered. I took it for repair but it doesn't work. Now it's laying in my drawer RIP. I think sooner or later all lg g4 might face killer bootloop.

@zakir, 02 Aug 2018my lgg4(h811) is suddenly dead not even charging what happened..?Bring it to a phone store they will heat it and it will boot again altho it won't be a long term solution it will be enough to Bach your data

My LG G4(VS986) overheats and keeps hanging after about 20 minutes of operation how can this be resolved.....

My lg g4 has this heating issue where if i use it for around 5 minutes it will start to get hot at the top where the back buttons are and the battery life is not too good either

can someone help me assist with the issue - Cannot send a text message and cannot connect to the wifi - it pops up "Unfortunately messaging has stopped". For connecting to wifi "Unfortunately, Captive Portal Login has stopped". Thank you for your assistance.

Everything is good about this phone except two things..... Poor battery backup and killer Bootloop. My H811 died in march 2018.

I now have my second LG G4 because the first one overheated, sent it for repairs and they replaced it with new one. (said it was a factory fault).

G4, 07 Jul 2018My G4 does that too and the reason is battery. Replacement ... moreShut down and remove battery for one hour and use flash only for camera forget about torchlight. Those things are worked for me. I m using v6.0 has terrible battery life. Yes maximum two hours on screen performance.

By clearing the cache memory it should wipe out this error!
Try this method and let me know!
