Got the phone almost 4 weeks, is very happy with it's performance and perfect size for me. Battery life is decent, it can be last for a while day if not heavy use, better than before MMS upgrades.
One thing I should mention is that I had a client complained that she could not reach me in a single night.I don't know it was a network problem or my phone issue.
It is a great phone.

I have updated to marshmallow 2 days back.... No issues till date. Device has started working more smoothly and somewhat heating problem has vanished now. Battery is performing little better.

Got this LG G4 last Jan 25 as bundled phone from Smart data plan. Just recently I updated to Marshmallow, at the same time I noticed that Wifi & Bluetooth are not working (wifi button sometimes blink many times as if it is turning on). Wifi and Bluetooth address are missing/unavailable on Software properties. I have not used both functions since I got the phone, cause I'm using mobile data all the time as well as on sending files (I just noticed when my colleague ask me to send a large game app thru wifi direct, then thru Bluetooth). I'm not sure if this issue is already there prior Marshmallow update. I check the web, and found out that many LG G4 users are experiencing this issue. I plan to return the unit this week to Smart, but I'm not sure if they could replace the unit right away since I got this phone from Smart after 4 months of waiting.

After 6.0 udate, the google map app is not working properly. Cant check the notifications on Google Chrome browser. The hell?

One of the greatest phone on the market right now. Amazing screen, good battery life and very responsive. Camera is in another league and above every competition. There is no lag whatsoever. Great build quality and I really like notificaton LED. Not the biggest fan of LG, but LG4 is a machine and I do recommend for buying one.

-LG G4 Cons:Not so good battery life for web and video playback (but charges quick), too big for one hand use. Otherwise, top notch phone.
Sony Z5 Cons: Poor photo at night, weak camera flash, loud speaker sucks, music volume level is average, sucky pano camera mode. I would buy this phone if the Cons are fixed. I like the 5.2'' screen (perfect for one hand use), good battery, waterproof, lag free UI.

I am using 2 batteries for 12 to 15 hours a day. Very pathetic power drainage...

Worst phone i ever owned!!!! At the moment it freezes, locks itself and is unresponsive to anything. I seem to be a permanent residence of vodacom shop the way i am always going there to ask for help. What is worse is that all vodacom consultants use Samaung and they struggle to assist me yet they were the ones who promoted that phone vigorously when i went looking for a phone

Just bought it on 21-2-2016,
1 year ago I bought the G3, 16GB Version, it was the worst experience I had with LG, but being android user for more than 5 years with every 6 months switching to different mobiles, I understood that the mistake was mine, 16gb with 2gb ram was for normal users not for geeks or gamers or in short heavy users, any how I went back to Samsung with note 3 immediately after 2 months use of lg g3, that few days ago since I got tired and bored of note 3 I started reading about lg g4 and S6,
3 key findings that I found and liked about g4 were 1- NO HEATING/LESS HEATING 2- CAMERA, 3- 32gb and 3g standard option.
so with a lot of planning I made the decision of buying it,
now after just 8 days ...
I am the most happiest user of LG g4,
the battery has improved, it does get warm after LONG Gaming or DOWNLOADING big files, camera is super !!!! any one who saw the results was astonished !!!!!
1st day when I received the phone it slipped right under bed I was scared maybe it will get some damage since im not using any covers as the leather back is just plain awesome. but not a single scratch...
when I received it was at 5.1 android 2 days before it updated to marshmallow and battery has improved drastically.
since G5 is out the prices has dropped, I would definitely prefer it to buyers who are looking for best looking device with excellent camera and quick performer !!!

worst phone ever, slipped out of my hand because it's such a stupid design, less than 30 cm from the floor and hey, cracked screen, stupid thing is only 2 days old. lg get with the program, you "glass" gorilla screen nonsense doesn't work.

I was waiting for 6.0 for long time and i updated my G4 but wanna say to you all don't update your phone bcz there are not big difference in between 5.1 to 6.0 . one major disadvantage is Battery its horrible now drain soooooo fast after updated.
