Did this phone ever get Nougat update in the UK.

    I owned this phone for 3 years and it served my well the whole time, up until 3 days ago when it started bootlooping.
    I'd get another G4 but this is apparently a manufacturer defect and will most likely affect any other G4 out there so I'll have to get a different model.

      I really regret getting this phone. Camera stopped working on mine in 8 months and yesterday it started bootlooping. GET THE G6 or G7 INSTEAD!!

        that LG leather was amazing but if you can wait then it really worth it if you can till S10 launch

        I'm so much into mobiles and new feature and fed up with a fingerprint sensor and iris sensor
        wait for something new like more curve and foldable

          I m using a second hand lg g4(H811) during asphalt 8 gameplay 1 or 2 hours no overheating issue just a bit warm performs very well overall the phn is very responsive and the 16 mp+8 mp camera sensors are best yet

              LG G4 is an utter waste of money. mine just shut down completely after a month. Totally off any LG phones for good.

                  Can anyone suggest me a better upgarde in terms of camera from an LG G4.? The current gen cameras look like a joke to me. I haven't tested Samsung or Apple's current gen flagships. But I tested my G4 with some dual cameras of Mi mobiles and S7, iphone 7. The images from those mobiles lacked clarity, something which i really like in G4. I can zoom in and crop the image and can still have a great detail. Most of the mid-range current gen mobiles suck at this, smudgier details may be because they are concentrating too much on the portrait mode.. I saw some last cam standing videos on Youtube where G6 is considered better than S8, Note 8, HTC U11 and surprisingly a lot of people on Reddit and some other forums are complaining that G6 camera is a downgrade from G4 which means G4 camera is even better than S8 and Note 8. I can't afford an iphoneX, OnePlus6, S9plus..or even an LG V30... What about LG V20..??

                      The LG brand has yet again refused to be careful about releasing products in regards to bugs, overheating, the battery getting bad over time, and bloatware. If you do not use cellular networks like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, or a very few others, then you will be bombarded by apps giving you popups if you do not use the cellular networks that are for those pre-installed apps. I am talking about when you use the Contacts and the screen gives you an AT&T Address Book sync popup. I had to go online to figure out how to remove that annoying AT&T Address Book popup that would show up each time I would go into my Contacts instead of LG being nice to me by not letting me have to remove it myself. That is why LG cares little about you if you have a cellular network that is not AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and other VERY popular cellular networks. Another problem with LG G4 is that the battery goes bad after an amount of time. It drains quicker than it would when you first bought LG G4. Once again another problem is that this phone overheats when you simply play games, watch videos, download anything, etc. It is pathetic because of that. Now, about the bugs problem. LG G4 has been notorious for the bootloop. Good luck finding an LG G4 that does not make the bootloop problem. Finally, do not hold your breath and expect the LG brand to help you if you deal with certain problems with the LG G4, especially with the bootloop. If your LG G4 phone actually works, then people have mentioned rooting your phone, getting an extended battery with a protective case, a fast charger, and a microSD card that can hold more than 32GBs to help you with your LG G4 experience.

I'm using already, My dad used it now he has s8plus and I have this but work so fine and playing NFS no limits, shadow fight and more high-end games yeah that's true it heats sometimes and battery backup is not good as now apps are so heavy I have 20000mah mi power bank and also removable battery but if talk about Camera its amazing buddy cant express if talk about Selfie or any landscape shot even slow-mo, every one surprise with the photos and now its more cheaper then before.

                              Pros, cons, and such:
                              Here’s the deal...I bought a new LG G4 in August of 2015. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. The camera was amazing, and I could not stop raving about it’s features and accessibility. A previous Apple user, I was in love. To my dismay, I was once again an Apple user just over a year later. I’m not too educated on the specifics, but something in the hardware fried due to overheating, a problem that is very prevalent in this phone. The sucky thing- my warranty had just expired.

                              So, this phone is a risk. I am considering going back to LG for the G6, but it’s camera is not as highly regarded. I recommend doing heavy research before purchasing any phone so as not to be disappointed in manufacturer flaws.

Yeah dude..i m using a second hand lg g4..it has color rich display,higher quality sound,richer features,super ultra cameras and solid performance..i m a heavy gamer only battery life is not good to me..bt fast charging 60-65% in 30 mnts.
