I was due an upgrade, so I went with the G4. It was great the 1st week, but as I started getting use to it. It's got countless bugs that irritate me to no end. The auto correct feature, by far the worst I've ever had the misfortune to use. E.g.. 1st gets corrected to 11st ?? That's not even close to being right. Music app frequently crashes and becomes unresponsive. A huge peeve now, if you are connected to Wi-Fi, watch out. If the Wi-Fi connection becomes poor, it'll autodisconnect and use Mobil data. Worst feature ever. I gotta turn off mobile data whenever I connect to Wi-Fi. Along with a few smaller problems, this phone isn't that terrible. The resolution is great, the camera (also crashes quite a bit) is pretty great for pictures when it Actually works. Call reception is decent. My old iPhone 4S was also decent. I would give the LG G4 a 3.2/5 stars.

Does it have fast camera shooting? Had only short opportunity to try this phone on the best quality camera capturing and it was quite slow.

a, 17 Dec 2015..and your previous post too...i think noone understood wha... moreYeux just replace the mistaken letters for the right ones. I cannot see the entire text on my N8 nokia as it scrolls up out of the way so the first part is usually OK. My LG4 is not used as a phone at all. the results from Raw files are what interests me and panoramas. Its 24mm lens betters anything I can put on my Nikon at base iso of 50. Ordinary jpegs are rubbish because they are coarsely crudely oversharpened and Panoramas are huge bloated copies of the jpegs. They cannot work at low shutter speeds in bad light as indoors and automatically vary exposure and noise reduction and focus as you pan resulting in real horrors not at all as claimed in the review.So Iam going to install Google camera and try again because the only reason bought a smartphone at all was and still is for Panoramas.

Battery ? Well it is better than all e mount Sony NEX cameras . I took 500+ raw files with jpegs one afternoon last week and this used less than half the battery. That is very good.
As to usong it its just a big square block and you just hold it very tight and stare at the screen. You CANNOT get rid of all the icons. A drag as they impede your view of the picture you are taking. You will fond gripping has consequences too as i get daft messages asking md things I have no idea of even when Ihave disabled all notifications have the phone and web off and am in flight mode just to be sure.
But that said its fantastic to use. Its great to have such a good screen and the colour accuracy of results is the best ever.
Remember too that you can just buy a spare battery and swap it when the other needs a recharge.
And there is NO limit to storage.
And in best light on a tripod only too the panoramas are good and they are very big but here for pro work the S6 Edge has it by a very wide margin as the G4 still oversharpen
In addition it varies exposure ad you pan. Yes folks yhrre is nothong you can do bar find a programme online that does not do this. The G4 underexposes highlights and overexposes shadows as you pan creating surreal results you might just like. But this should be your choice. Here it is forced upon you. You need a machine or asoftware that fixes focus and exposure at frame 1 for the series. The LG G4 varies exposure and focus automatically in both panorama and video.
Wr are told that there is manual control in video in the newer V10 but of panorama not a word.
So far the G4 is only ok for very big low res panoramas in direct sunlight .

Help in choosing G4?
Well it has a very fast sharp 24mm f1.8 lens and the inbuilt already there LG software allows you to set it manually and use RAW. This gets you excellent widescreen photographs and deep focus with acceptably low graon at 50 iso.
BUT. its panorama mode has thesame blocky noisereduced and oversharpened jpeg quality that all its pics in simple and auto mode have. You are helpless as tho u can use raw for stills you have rubbish panoramas that cannot compare to an S6 edge for quality on good light because S6 machines have a LOT less sharpening.
Video is automaydd and has same quality as jpegs. Why do all ghe extra destructive processing at all? Well so you hug the next model of course- but for all but raw stills its hopeless.
Phone use and wdb use is fine
As with all recent phones theres no wriststrap or even holes for one. This is so youll drop the phone and buy another one.......
The LG case is pathetic
There is no supplied wireless charger and you have to buy one. Its not waterproof.
Surfing the web on a 2560x1440 screen online is VERY expensive as each page is upwards of 25mb if you even read a paper. Video is far more expensive than going to the cinema !
So its as good as a nokia N8 to phone people but not as noce to hold and use - and this one here cost 50 GBP mint and of course it has a wridtstrap.
BUT a G4 has a good RDS FM radio AND you can record its broadcasts........
