I love this phone. Does everything I want it to do. Loving that camera pro mode and that sweet selfie camera makes snap chatting a lot better in low light. Plus, not a lot of bloatware. Gotta love that.

dude, 29 Jul 2015Had the same problem, but I went with G4. Why ? Simple answ... moreI will try to use the HTC M9 and the LG G4 on a more, "professional" use to see how they square off against one another and against the iPhone 5S and against the Blackberry 10. Other than the excellent Camera and awesome Music Player, I will see how good the productivity can be on the HTC and the G4. I will keep you guys posted. Once more, the HTC camera rocks its just that the G4 Camera is WAY superior, the htc music player feels basic.. but it is NOT bad at all.

Another issue that Ive picked up on "Vodacom" when I dialled my own number it rings a good few times on the line but my actual phone does not ring, then after say the 4th ring it goes quiet on the line for a second and almost sounds like it is starting to ring again and only then does my actual phone start to ring. I researched and according to "Vodacoms" bullsh#t excuses this is when they are relaying the call between 3G and LTE. The problem is your phone ends up ringing once or twice where the caller has been waiting for you to answer for some time.

Don't know if I've just been unlucky or what. I loved the phone but it started missing calls..People were calling and getting straight though to voicemail with no sign of a missed call on the phone. The unit was replaced by Vodacom but the replacement did exactly the same thing. I am now waiting for the 3rd phone to try again otherwise I will have to look at something else, regrettably.

M9 has everything else, but I would only exclude the front speakers. Other than that both phones are super fluid and all. It depends on what you want from the phone. Do you listen/watch more media on the phone without the headphones or you like taking great shots and making videos on a regular basis. Go over to YouTube and checkout some of the comparisons.

Have been playing with both phones. I love it however, the G4 seems smoother and lot more fun to play with. The Camera and Music Player are way superior over the HTC M9. The LG interface is easier to navigate for some reason to me. HTC and LG despite both being droids, they feel VERY different from one another. Personally I would recommend the G4 over the M9 after having played with them. Also the G4 has a lower price and doesnt seem to be as fragile looking like the HTC or the Samsung Galaxy

                                Hey guys,
I have been saving money for a new phone. However, after a few weeks of reading reviews, opinions, video watching, etc. I'm currently lost. The phones that I had an eye on were Samsung Galaxy S6, Sony Xperia Z3 Plus, HTC One M9 and LG G4.

I have manged to shorten the list to HTC One M9 and the LG G4. Reason is, for me the Galaxy S6 lacks a SD card and the 64/ 128 GB versions are way expensive. I have tested a Sony Xperia Z3 and the battery life is amazing. However, according to reviews, the Sony Xperia 3 Plus has overheating issues. I currently own a HTC One M8 on contract bases, sometimes it lags when scrolling through Facebook but other than that its a great phone. I have e little doubt about the HTC One M9 though, since it has the same processor (Snapdragon 810) as the Xperia Z3+ which seems to be causing the overheating issue. What are you guys thoughts?

I bought this phone and the HTC One M9. I compared the LG G4 with the Blackberry Z3o, Classic, HTC One M9, and iPhone 5S. Gotta say the Camera rocks! Pictures are so crisp and video is excellent! just like the HTC. The music player quality sounds superb, specially the customer and surround sound options on the EQ. Personally find the music quality better than the iPhone and Blackberry music player, and the HTC did not have a music equalizer. Only thing I did not like at first was the volume and lock keys on the back but quickly got used to them. The display is brilliant like the iPhone's display and better than the Blackberry's or the HTC. The G4 got really hot just like the HTC, mind you these phones are only a few hours old.. but to be honest the heat didnt bother me. Typing on this phone is really easy. Keyboard feels decent. I find the keyboard on the Blackberry Z30 (and Z10) just way smoother, and second would be the iPhone. The processor is very smooth on the G4 just like the HTC but Youtube tends to lag a bit nothing bad at all just a few like lags... The Blackberry browser is the best, second I would say Safari, followed by Chrome. The HTC seemed to be the more dominant processor much smoother. Despite the HTC and G4 being droids, they both have a completely different feel from one another. You can't go wrong with either. I quickly fell in love with the G4!! This phone rocks!!

I can't imagine a flagship device competing with Samsungs without this option, it's ridiculous!
