You guys are very unlucky. Or maybe I am lucky. 2 years with my G4 and still it”s an amazing phone. Probabbly I will change it when will be launched G8.

Would be a great phone if it wasn't for the bootloop issue. I am raging after spending so much money on it and now having to wait a week for them to fix it and send it back!!!! Sort yourself out LG. Seriously.

Shitty, shitty phone. It will die, I can guarantee it. My G4 died, friends G4 died, all my friends had G3, all died. Bootloop bound to happen!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Love G4. Been using for more than 2 years. Great camera especially night shots. LG UI is easy to use too. Battery life could be better though. Have changed mainboard under warranty, and changed new screen (burnout), new battery, and in a few days new power & volume button. Compared night shots with Samsung S8 and LG G4 is not far off....very happy!

This was my first lg phone and probably the last one.
Despite the fact that G4 has over heating problem and red shadows appearing on screen even with simple web browsing, one thing that really bothers me is the liying about the updates.
I mean WTF DUDE. Who do you thing you are? You release the updates just for your people?!!!
This is f****'d up.
I encourage people to stop buying from this company.

Really love this phone. My only problem with this is the overheating which affects battery life. Other than that I wish I knew what's causing the excessive heat. 😞

AnonD-710685, 25 Oct 2017I dont know what yalls problem is but I have had the Verizo... morein the way that lg is delivering updates by 2 half 2019 we will gte nougat it is a shame that over a year the os venison was 7.0 and even devices like j7 are getting 7.1 .... and our devices g4 is a flagship grade ... what can I say it was consider like that but for Poland and korea ... no usa or any other country .... not even the unlock version ( global ) ... well this g4 will be like original g flex only got 1 mayor update from jelly to kit kat and from lolli - marsh us.... even g3 is marshmallow what a shame.

hope you can read or be notified lg but your support sucks when don't ask for be the 1 updating a cell phone with 1rst mayor update when on the last mayor you don't deliver it to any body but just Poland and korea thanks .. android is on 8.1 already and we still 6.0 what a shame being fooled by Samsung midranges such j7 I paid premium price for a premium phone in order to secure updates ... shame on you

I dont know what yalls problem is but I have had the Verizon G4 for over a year now and it is a great phone its very fast, very responsive, GREAT CAMERA/S. Never any issues what so ever. I HOPE that we can only get the OREO update, DO you hear me VERIZON? Hundreds of thousands of people would like OREO on the G4.

Officially the worst phone that was ever created. Gone through 3 devices, all of them had bootloop problems and I had to move one. It was so frustrating. Never going back to LG, ever again.

We in India still waiting for a complete update from LG so that the LG g4 becomes volte ready. What's the fun of releasing update if it doesn't provide the basic functionality to users. And on top of that lg g4 has bootloop issues and to add to the story even never models g5 has aslo popping up with bootloop issues. This way companies can't retain the credibility. It's bad and leaves an impression

:: LG G3 :: Android 4.4.2 (KitKat), upgradable to 6.0 (Marshmallow)
and LG G4 : Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), 6.0 (Marshmallow), planned upgrade to 7.0 (Nougat)
release 2015 Apr and now 2017 Oct ? 2.5 year, phone with 2 years old never gives new update unless in rare cases , never ever in google devices . just a security update is ok , or update change g3 ui to g5 ux . which is current LG UI ,,,,, just why ? at least LG G4 is stable in rom , unless the battery's drains

I wanted that phone so badly but it wasnt available in my country. With LG Optimus G, LG tried to enter the competition and they made and excellent device that could compete Samsung's Galaxy S3, but they failed to launch it outside Korea and USA, and even bad history of LGs slow updates caught E975. LG G2 was the real winner, with it LG succeeded and finally was able to compete with Samsung. Now, LG is not that slow with updates, they usually manage to release update before Samsung. LG G4 received Marshmallow 1 month after Android 6.0 was actually released and it was the fastest update. You can check Android Authority update tracker and see that LG released updates a lot faster than Samsung did for their phones that were released at the same time as LG's.
