Don't buy this phone. Save yourself from the G4 bootloop problem. Mine bootlooped after 1year and 7 months. $500 loss. I'm not buying anything LG again.

Have G4 two years now. Never had problems. But I was always afraid. And because the battery life and overheating issue (I don't play games) while using camera, FB or navigation, I moved to Samsung.
I had many apps on G4, more than 80 and after two years of use it was lagging. After I bought the S8, I only used the G4 as second phone, factory resseted it, fewer apps, w-/out 4G, only WiFi and BT and with one full charge it lasts 1-2,5 days, depending the use.
LG has nice feature and loved the rear buttons. But connecting to 4G/4G+ it just drains the battery. UI needs serious optimisation.
But Samsung has better UI, because I manage to end a day with only a full charge. But I miss the double tap to wake the phone.

I got the September security patch for my bootlooping g4. I thought they never send any updates after nougat, but it looks like still they keep updating this device. Surprise

I've read many comments on this forum, and I can say that my LG G4 has been perfectly in service for almost two years, and it has a 507 motherboard. Maybe in a more recent time I switch to the LG G6 if this phone breaks down. I have no objections to the operation of this phone. A few months ago he stayed in the car and in the car was very warm and he went out alone. I thought it would not work anymore, but since then there have been no problems.

Would have been a nice phone if not for the bootloop feature. This is my last LG phone. The S6 is nice, but I'm not buying LG again.

I am using Lgg4 since 1.5 years and I have to say, its a phantastic phone!
Great Display, phantastic camera...best around! Even better than iphone 7!
It supports heavy work on the phone, never crashes. It works as on first day. Only battery starts going down now. I would always suggest Lg!

LG uses to leave devices with bootloop issues. The best example after our G4 is the V20, which was presented just one year ago. I think we won't receive any Nougat update

Derick, 19 Sep 2017Have you tried changing your battery?It is 100% sure it already bootlooped. Dont waste money on battery. Don't waste money to repaire or replace motherboard .Believe me i suffered the same issue. I have read in internet this issue keep comming back even though you replace the board. The only thing you can do is heat the motherboard using an iron to its maxm heat for 15 min( heavy iron is ideal as it apply pressure on chipset while heating). Keep the iron on top of main 2cpu. Then let it cool 30min. Then take a peace of paper and bend it to make thickness same to atm card( may be little more than that). Then place it between display and main chip and assemble the phone. This method works for me for 5days. Then need to repeat.even after this if your phone fail to boot, try with plugging charger. If it boot with charger that mean you have bootloop plus bad battery. I have been using this for 1.5 month using this method.you can find youtube videos to see practically

Hi , I've been using my Lg g4 with Nougat update for 1 week now.. everything works fine. battery last for 2 days in stand-by mode but drains fast when I using the phone. Mine is a Korean version. :)

One of the best device i used, Superb display, Great camera, no laggy.over all everything perfect. but after some months of usage battery drains faster.But im unlucky, i used this phone only up to 1 year and a month, after that phone goes to critical stage.when i switch on logo only appears in screen.As i heard LG G$ have issues named loop booting. Even the warranty is over i will not get replacement.Now the phone is with me without any usage.
