This phone is awful. I've had it for about a year and maybe two months into having it, the screen just stopped turning on. The battery life is awful. It freezes constantly. It overheats like crazy. Sometimes I even have to turn it off and take the back off in fear that it will explode. I had the G2 previously so I figured the G4 should be an improvement since I had nothing but good experiences with the G2. I was wrong. I have NEVER dropped or damaged this phone in any way. It's just a piece of crap phone. WILL NOT get another phone from LG.

when i got this phone i was shocked to find a stuck/dead pixel on the center of the screen. fresh out of the box! i don't know if this is just bad luck though. one more problem i have encountered is that the battery is suddenly draining much faster than usual after a minor software update: the phone just started draining much faster even after i tried uninstalling every app i didn't need and tried power saving mode. i tried everything but the problem persists. i'm very disappointed that i had such bad luck with an lg product. luckily no bootloop problem yet. i am buying an s7 edge soon as a new phone.

HATE this phone so freaking much. I have had it for 5 months, it gets incredibly hot and the battery life is worse than my LG G2 even though it is meant to be better. Battery last maybe 8hrs and I do not use my phone for anything but texting, emails and a youtube video here and there (I'm not on social media and don't play games). I had to stop using this phone all together and revert back to my G2, because it started making this loud-ass beeping noise that would not turn off and IT DISABLED THE POWER BUTTON!!! ONLY REMOVING THE BATTERY WOULD POWER IT OFF. This is my 5th LG phone and my last. They just get worse and worse, never better. If you want proof of this, go to any site that offers trade-ins and you will see they do not accept this phone or they offer less than $20 trade in value. You can tell a phone's worth and quality by it's trade-in value.

Bought my G4 last august
up until yesterday it worked fine, was able to perform tasks and games with no lag
but yesterday it suddenly froze and turned off because of the bootloop issue
that basically renders the phone useless so need to buy another phone now

Important:
You can still retrieve your data by placing the phone in the freezer for at least 1hr. Your phone will work for around 5 minutes, and it will go back to bootloop. That's how I was able to retrieve all my data. It's all over youtube. GL guys.

After 1 yr. It shows malfunctioning. Suddenly it stuck as what called bootloop. Brought it to service center but they are charging of 350usd. I refuse. This LG mobile is rubbish.

There r issues with even newer models G5, V10 and V20 bootloop and hardware malfunctions. Samsung too uses qualcomm processors but they take extra care for their components eg galaxy s7 burning issue they called all S7 back to replace them, but Lg they did`t care nor they admitted for their bootloop issues, that still exists in their newer phones.

.......just got the replacement phone today from tmobile due to bootloop after a year of usage. I love the g2. Lg really f@@k up on the g4! Stay away folks. Sad to say.

I just repair my lg g4 bootloop issue...change motherboard..luckly still under waranty...is this problem will happen back after 1 year or less...anyone experience it...or should i trade to other phone..any suggestion anyone...?
