I don't know about Koodoo, but I have uninstalled some of the bloatware I got with mine. You should be able to do the same.

                      I AM VERY DISAPOINTED!
It's been less than a year since I've bought my H815 and now the motherboard is gone (broken) my phone also suffered from Display Pixel Retention which was very annoying and battery life dropped signifacantly for the last 4 months.
So even though great performace and stunning looks overwall reliability is very bad.
                      Thums down for LG!!!!!

I just acquired the canadian H812 G4 through Koodo. The hardware is nice, it's snappy and responsive. However it turns out the FM Radio is missing. Koodo pretends it's the manufacturer who chooses to deactivate it and the carriers have nothing to do with it. Also it's full of bloatware you can't uninstall and it's missing some android features I used to enjoy with my Moto G. I will look for another phone that has all the basics.

I liked the phone when it came out, but it's riddle with issues. Overheats and sometimes won't boot up correctly. My second lg g4 died recently and my mom is on her 4th lg g4. The boot issue is still affecting a lot of lg g4 phones lately.

[deleted post]Everything is 'fake' for you.
You kept saying the bootloop issue was 'fake'
Then you said our G4's were fake
Now you're saying users themselves are fake?
                                  What's next?

I had this phone for 9 months before it went into a reboot loop. LG told me to send it in for repairs which they would pay for. Imagine my surprise when I got an email from their repair company asking for $655 and LG said that I would have to pay it. Brutal phone and even worse customer service.

I've been using this for more than a month. Hence it is not a long term review. However few pointers for potential buyers:
                                      1. Great performance. Fluid.
                                      2. Has more than 1gb memory free at any time.
                                      3. Battery lasts a day easily with 2 mails sync(off & Personal), whatsapp and a lot of calls, Net browsing, you tube and saavn. But you will have to charge it every end of day. However the phone had excellent standby.
                                      4. Excellent screen.
                                      5. Loud speaker volume, though not htc class in sound quality but louder than htc one m9. Bluetooth connectivity very stable and clear for calls.
                                      6. Powerful hotspot.
                                      7. Fantastic natural sounding music through my sennheiser.
                                      8. Most important - exceptional Reception of signal and great call quality. In my case out catches 4g at a place where htc and BlackBerry failed.
                                      9. Best camera I've seen till date on a smartphone (i've seen Apple iPad air, 5s, samsung s6, j7, one m9 and BlackBerry z30), back and front.
                                      10. The phone gets a bit warm with games like angry birds our plants vs zombies. Haven't tried other high end games. But that happens with most of the powerful phones per my experience.

I bought a htc from eBay for about 18.5k which got conked off in a month and the seller provided me lg g4 as replacement.

The risk of boot loop is there. It also doesn't have fingerprint scanner. Os is efficient but you'll not get a lot of themes. So launcher is the way to go. Overall the phone it's very likable. I thought off writing this cause I didn't plan to buy this but landed with it accidentally. Next time onwards I'll definitely keep lg in mind while buying a smartphone.

LG G4 is a great phone, but beware of the bootloop issue plaguing this phone. If you are planning on purchasing one, I recommend confirming the manufactured date of the phone first. You would want one that was manufactured as recent as Sep. 2016. I think a way to confirm this is by looking at the first three numbers of the Serial number of the phone (found in the battery compartment area of the phone). The serial number for one manufactured in Sep.2016 should begin with '609' (not 100% sure, but you get the idea). I hope this helps.
