I also had same battery and heating issue after marshmallow 6.0 update then I Visited the LG service Centre and they just flashed my software to 5.1 within 30 minutes and then I updated to lollipop OTA updates that was available to V10L-IND-XX and now my phone works perfectly with more than 1 day battery backup. I am just impressed. No need to change Motherboard/PCB board. just 30 min and the phone back to normal. OMG LG at PATNA direct service center is GOOD.

Best machine ever ! It is really bulletproof !!! Cpu on lg is faster than that on my mac its redicilus.

I bought my G4 dual four montsh ago and the battery surprised me with one and a half day standby after hearing so many negative comments but updating to marsmallow killed all my happiness wit the battery, now I can't reach the evening with full battery in the morning. Please LG, do something to improve the battery.

P - made in koreaOk seeing people here are absolute DOLTS I will outline the differences between the 818P and 818N:
P: Supports FD LTE 700, 800, 850, 900, 1800, 2100, and 2600
N: Supports FD LTE 1800, 2100, 2600 and TD LTE 1900, 2300, 2600 (and TD-SCDMA, too)
All G4's are made in Korea. Absolutely ridiculous to say P's are Made in Korea and N's in China. I have a N and it's made in Korea.

So no worries

Bought mine last December (not on any data plan) , do have initial problem with split screen, brought it to be fixed in the service center (they replaced the main CPU) . Got the Marshmallow update this March, I don't have any problems with connection (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) phone runs smoothly in the new OS. (also from the Philippines)

I now have a G4 with new mainboard.
I can not imagine if this happened outside the warranty period..

European Dual G4 has V20D update. For us who have the Ame model, any way we can find V20D? (I keep getting V20c as an update I will not install that)?? Anyone?

i used LG G3 and G4 the batteries are not good as compared to galaxy S5 and Note seires
