King, 08 Apr 2020Any have pie update in g6 h871 ?I have the H873 in Canada. It's been upgraded twice, to 8 first then about a year ago to Android 9, it that helps

this pos LG G6 is by far the worst phone i have ever had. i curse the day i let the salesman sell me this when i wanted another samsung. anyway, the problem is that the this device changes settings on it's own and i am constantly going back and fixing incorrect settings. right now, the phone doesn't give me a sound notification for text messages if i don't close out the window. if i have the text app in use, i get no sound notification. i've done all of the standard fix attempts through settings, apps, ad nauseum. i still have two months to go with this crappy phone and i use it primarily for my business. this is only one of multiple malfunctions that i have with this device and i have had a new smart phone every two years since the first iphone. it's good that this is no longer offered, it's one less problem you will have to worry about

I have the H870 international unlocked version I´m running now the new pie update and it gave my phone at least nine months more of life, I wanted to change it but now I don´t.

I'm currently having Dual SIM (H870DS) Variant with Indonesian Region, my region didn't have Pie update, so I inject my phone with Taiwan Firmware which is running Pie Update (Fastboot ROM) I use LG-UP software and UPPERCUT to bypass Region checking. I saw both Hong-Kong region (870 or 780DS) already got Pie update, maybe you need to flash it via Fastboot mode to got the Pie Update

Bought it for 300$ one year later..
Cons:
Bad camera ( the only thing working well on this piece of junk is gcam ..).
Bad processor ( medium graphics in pubg mobile). Also 4 cores are not so good.
Heats alot when gaming.
Bad headphone Jack placement.
Selfie camera is awful.
Battery life is not that great.
Fingerprint sensor is also a key that you can push????
Pros:
Very good and vivid display.
Wide angle cam
Low price.
Would not recommend it since it's not worth your 300 bucks. Almost every midrange device from 2019 have far better battery life and better cameras.

Great phone with stunning camera and video. Might be a few years old, but still competes with newer phones and in many cases better.
