After Oreo update battery is draining heavily..
NO matter what ever you try or stop backgrounds running apps.
It drains.& drains.
Even i tried formatting my mobile buts it's still the same.
Didn't expected this much of drain from LG..
MY Mobile Was better without update.

Just got the Oreo update notification on my LG G6 in India. Still I haven't updated.

Got my oreo update last night, it was around 1856MB in size. Phone feels alot faster and more fluid now. Can't comment on battery life yet but not many changes with the update. Phone still feels the same with some very minor visual upgrades.
I am from India but my phone is purchased from Saudi.

I have lg g6 since last 6 months i have detected moisture in usb port that message shows in mobile and charging is issue any body have such issue and i have sent in lg customer
any body have such probelm and have they replaced with new phone i have heard in market i am from india

But no software update, January was the last time I received security patch. LG is really far far away in terms of supporting their devices. Will not buy any LG again. First and last mistake

Hi,in FlashingDroid youtube channel,lg g6 quad dac full review english video youtube,in 12:02 lg g6 shows same as mine lg g6 not for sale written on upper right corner bezel,what is mean by that?is it final production unit and also compatible for future ota/security/software updates ?

I'm glad that LG improved their UI since the Oreo update because on Nougat their UI was just Terrible!! I was obligated to use Evie or Nova launcher to make it a bit clean but since i've update to oreo i'm on their UI and it's very correct and smooth now.

Rajendra90, 04 Aug 2018Why lg mobile delay software updataton for lg g6 last 8 mon... moreBro, you really like crying over small stuff apparently lol i have both the oneplus 6 and the lg g6 at home, the op6 being mine and the g6 being my mums. when i got the lg g6 for my mum i was using the oneplus 3t the device was quite good for its time and i know for a fact that its working really well still the ram and the rear cameras and the storage are pretty good for a 2017 phone which by the way was one of the first to introduce this design language so if you are bitching about a device that's over a year and a half old irl i think you'd be outta your mind fam, plus the device has obviously steeply price dropped now is like 27 k inr bro, i personally think the processor the cam and the ois at this price point is good, even though the processor is quite old its good at the price point and only power users would know the difference and well if your'e buying a 2017 flagship in 2018 its some of the things you miss out that you have to live with man.

I own LG G6 (H870) for almost a year now and had no problems with it so far. On 1st June it got Oreo update (8.0.0) and now works even smoother and faster than before. The only issue I noticed from the last update is battery life... I've uninstalled all battery draining apps and disabled running in background for some of them, but still, no significant effect. Otherwise, it's a great phone and my third LG in a row (had G3 and G5). I'm quite sure the next one will be LG as well.

Me too in UAE & android version is still 7.0, no information is provided by LG care till even after continuous follow ups through email, whatsapp, twitter, facebook and so on. After sales, camera, built quality sucks totally for LG g6+ so called flagship
