WHAT notch again THIS IS GETTING OUT OF CONTROL THE notch VIRUS IS OUTBREAKING ok let's forget the EXTREMELY STUPID UGLY notch and focus on the specs have you notes that it has an LCD screen now we like the hightic OLED screen more then the cheep ugly LCD but you may read the rumors about the new amazing LG s LCD screen if you are smart enough you'll know that the only advantage the OLED scren has compare to the LCD is controlling every single pixel so you can turn it on and off to save battery and proforming the allways on display but have you notes that in the specs it had the allways on display ? how is it possible for an LCD screen do the allways on display ?
as for the 18:9 display most notch phons have 19:9 display to have a place for the notch so the screen should bee taller
another thing the camera now it does make sense to use tlelephoto and wide range dual camera style but way 60 fps on FHD even 4K has 60 fps the new SD845 support high speed video recording like the cheep Asus zenfone 5Z even some brand gone even farther like Sony,s 1000fps FHD super slow mo so way the outdated 4 years old video recording ?
ether that those specs are false or the LG is doing the same thing like the LG G6 it was terrible but the LG V30 was great ( except the 5MP selfe and the slow performance ) so I expect the LG V40 to be better
as for the ending the only different between the lg g6 and the lg v30 is the notch, selfe, and the chip sit
bay the way the specs means specifications
and I think the the OLED screen isnt suitable for a military grade phone because it sensitive to heat and dies quickly specialy the week P OLED ( P for plastic ) it can only take 10s before it melts comparing to a normal IPS LCD screen tha can take 40s before changing it color an SPRAYS it well recover
sorry about the long post and again about my English I am Arabic

Even though it's newer than the LG V30S THINQ it still doesn't have Thinq AI also it has lower battery capacity than LG V30. But it has a bigger screen and better processor (SNAPDRAGON 845)

This phone was cancelled, so while it can be put on the rumor mill, I strongly doubt this phone or any derivatives will ever be released. Personally I'd rather wait a few years for a flagship with great, practical features and an original, timeless design rather than follow trends. My G3 had every feature I'd want in a smartphone, save a Hi-Fi DAC. I think LG should continue to promote the V30 for a few more years, as it's more phone than people would ever need, along with having premium design(but not my favorite) and great features.

Only Lg put MIL STD-810G.Also there is IP 68 and gorilla Glass 5.For protection this is best flagship smartphone on the market.Btw Lg v30 and g6 have this also and that is great.

It is PATHETIC that LG can't innovate or come up with something without just simply copying the other guy! They deserve to wither on the vine and die as a company!

And here is another phone with a notch. Anyway I don't really have a problem with it, if the display is at least 6 inches.

Tisk tisk. Can Vivo hurry up and make their notchless prototype phone a reality already to show all these silly companies how it's done.
