Why are so many people bashing on this phone for the most obscure reasons?

I went from an LG V10 to an LG G8, you would think it would be night and day and that I would never look back..... B.S., I would have kept using my V10 if I would have known what I would get with the G8.... The way it operates in many situations make you think wtf were they smoking when they did that. Burnt out on LG phones, we used to use Motorola then LG, probably gonna go Samsung next. simple things like saving a screen shot, 5 different ways to save and they save to different locations and require different operations to share, which makes no sense. Thats just what finally really made me made about this phone, so many issues with screen flip when going horizontal, I mean really just a bad phone compared to the hardware it has, its all in programming, just poor performance all around...

Chastain, 21 May 2021The Sprint version has voLTE and VoWiFi connection issues ... moreIn regards to Sprint and VoWi-Fi. Sprint explains it in the notes provided on the phone (Touch the three dots in the Voice Network Option Screen).
"F%/= You, and the WiFi you rode in on." I'm paraphrasing...
They disabled Wi-Fi preference. It will only go to WiFi if there is no other option. But that doesnt work in my experiwnce.
It seems ANY signal will prevent it from going to WiFi. No matter how poor the signal quality.
Great Phone. Sprint just messed it up.

There is a misprint. The Sprint model is CDMA. A Mis-Sprint... Get it?
But, seriously. I'm a Sprint user now T-Mobile and the phone becomes incompatible in Jan 22 when they stop supporting CDMA.

Semmol, 26 Mar 2021Phone connoisseurs ask for advice: LG G8S ThinQ or OnePlus ... moreIf you're not a techy and you don't value innovation and you're okay with 1080p display go with oneplus 7t it is an excellent phone with great refresh rate. On the other hand, if you want to experiment and try new things, hold a unique phone then go with the g8 you've tons of features that you can use or chose not to.
