Ul-Haq, 23 Dec 2014Thinking about buying, but I've been reading that users of ... moreUPDATE: So I finally got on to LG Customer Support and their take on the matter is that the problem is not with the model of the phone being the L23 in the USA as this just signifies that this phone is the international version. Rather, it's a matter of configuration and the user can either take the device in to their Carrier for the configuration to be done or try another manual 'switch' whenever 3G/4G is needed. Their exact words were:

"Yes they can also dial *#*#4636#*#* to turn on the 4G/3G, but they have to do this everytime they want to use the 4G/3G, but if its configured from the network it will be automatic."

So I am not in the USA to try this, but if someone who's had this problem could, then it would be useful to try it out and give some feedback.

Thinking about buying, but I've been reading that users of the LG G Flex L23 have not been able to access 3G nor 4G data services in the USA. But my review of the phone here on GSMarena confirms that the phone is compatible with the 3G and 4G bands in the USA, so then what is the problem with these users' phones?

I really like this phone. The screen resolution is enough at least for my eyes, and the battery is really long lasting.

I recently bought an unlocked LG Flex L23 (Japanese Version) and trying to use it in Canada. I have data plan, but dont know why i don't have data access whenever I am not connected to wifi even I set to "Data Enable" in my phone. I have no problem when i switch back to my note 3. Anyone knows what else I need to fix in setting?

its a great phone . 720 resolution is bad on paper but when you use it you cant notice anuthing bad. battery life is best ive seen . processor works very fast . ithink that it would be perfect it to have 3 gb of ram. camera is ok , nothing special. in all i think its a wonderfull phone with great specs and great ui. i definitly recomend it to everybody. i use this pgone for 7 months now and i completely love it

                            1. 23Gb is NOT ENOUGH :(
                            2. 1280:720 is NOT ENOUGH :(
                            3. NO microSD is NOT OK :(
                            4. SELFHEALING U can put into fairy tales :)
                            So ... what's GOOD ?
                            1. Baterry life :) OUTSTANDING !!!

                            That's all ...

                            Before i used Iphone 4S , HTC EVO 3D , S3 ...all still in my drawer .
                            If LG made FLEX 2 with quicker CPU and GPU , 4K , 128GB Ram + 8Ram , microSD to 128GB , water resistant , thermometer , that's will be good phone .

Absolutely a piece of crap the connectors in the mother board and throughout the internals of the phone will puncture the lcd screen and the glass will break i totally regret getting this phone. Oh ya i forgot to mention lg will just blame it on you when it happes saying that it wasnt there fault the phone bent in your pocket and caused it to crack

But you may or may not notice the screen is in fact grainy most likely an issue with 1st generation curved POLED manufacturing.
