nick, 14 Jan 2018mine just died while i was typing sms. screen just go black... moreI had this problem recently. I tried hard resetting, but still had the bootloop problem. I've sent my G Flex 2 to warranty (2 months of warranty left, i was lucky on this one haha) and they replaced the motherboard. Now it works like a brand new one, hopefully it will last.

mine just died while i was typing sms. screen just go black and i wont turn on or react when connect it to charger, and days after i tried to turn it on again and it did turn on but indicates that it needs to charge, when i connect it to charger it charges a while gets few percents that tries tu turn on, get to lg logo and turn off again i then it dont react on anything until battery drains on it self again.
does someone knows is it battery or does it need new motherboard?

turn on and off again and again it's a bootloop problem that's in lg g3 and g4 and g5 and some g6 and it cause of problem in the system on chip and no solution is avalible now lg is a bad company f**k lg

AnonD-724147, 19 Dec 2017My Flex2 keeps switching ON and OFF, what do I do?I have the same issue. What worked for me at least for now: Let the phone sit on ice for 10 mins, then start. Backup the data and images as fast as you can and get a new phone. Interesting thing is that this issue started after recent firmware update. The CPU overheats really fast on startup, causing the system to either restart, reset or brick the phone. If it bricks your phone, break it apart, disconnect the battery, wait 2 minutes, connect the battery, put the cover back on and repeat the process with coolling the phone with ice. It looks crazy, but that worked for me so far.

Advantages:
Fast processor. Quality Camera.
Disadvantages:
The brightness of the display can not be reduced much, even when auto mode is used to limit power consumption. It always shines bright. Even at 0% discount ??? Also, GPS pretty hard finds my location. The battery "falls" extremely fast because there are no energy-saving modes, as with Sony, for example ...

I have had 3 flex phones.
CON:
All of them worked perfectly unitil, in each unit, the camera stopped working all of a sudden. All three phone lived in an OtterBox defender case for their entire service lives.
Occasionally got warmer during charging.
Pros:
Great battery life
Comfortable to hold
Awesome pics (when camera was working)
Great video aspect for movies (curve scren)

my flex 2 screen lights up all the time .. never goes off. when i flip the phone and place it on the table it keeps on blinking. service folk tells me to change the screen that cost around 10k. :D :D
any other soulution? does anyone face similar problem?

It appears to be a common problem with GFlex2. I first noted that I would go to bed with batery fully charged by the time I got up it was completely discharged.Recently it was very hot while charging. Then I could not boot it up.Found only way to boot it up was to keep it plugged in. Did factory reset. Helped a little but still can only use it if is plugged in.If I unplug it shuts off immediately.Then tries to reboot about every 5 seconds but never completes reboot untill I plug it back in. When not plugged in battery declines very fast. Beautiful exterior.Garbage interior.
