lets hope they release a high end tablet/sucessor to the g pad 8.3 by the end of the year. a S805 with 2k display...

Maybe these low end tablets should be the lg l pads or something, as all of their low end phones are l-something, e.g. l70. I think lg then should relese a proper replacement for the g pad with a snapdragon 801 for instance. So lg would end up with the lg l pad and the lg g pad

smsmasters.co.uk, 12 May 2014Nice tablet but is it worth upgrading from a LG G Pad 8.3?I am looking to buy a tablet and the g pad 8.3 has a better spec than this one which doesnt make sense as this is newer, so the answer to your question is it would be more like a downgrade than an upgrade.
Even value for money the g pad 8.3 seems the better choice against the samsung 8.4 pro, samsung is better, screen and processor maybe other things but for the price its the g pad 8.3 for me. Hope that helps.

Highness, 03 Jun 2014pls advice me Shud I buy it?If you want to buy it, you should compare it first to other tablets because you may regret if this is a bad tablet. Second, you should know the limits of your budget. Lastly, you should compare it to nexus 7 (2013), samsung galaxy tab 4 8.0 and asus fonepad 2

it would be a waste if 8.0 and 10.1 are midrange tablet.

Anonymous, 12 May 2014because of micro sd card yes! No, because g pad has micro sd card up to 64 gb. And it doesn't have flash. so why would you upgrade?

hmm, doesn't have flash. probably cheaper version of g pad 8.3. maybe with 1.2 ghz processor.
