About getting the maximum battery life, two tips...
1.Leave the mobile with charger, even after green notification, the longer you leave it charged, the longer is the battery life, I leave it for 1 or 2 hours extra.
2.soft reset the mobile, I.e., power it off and restart, this works for all the shortcomings
I get 50 percent battery life remaining at the end of the day of heavy use.
Remove all unused apps and do not install themes, battery life is awesome in gpro 2.

DO NOT UPDATE TO LOLLIPOP i repeat do not update Ur mobile to lollipop its SHIT very shit so many functions removed from Kitkat and no root available and it drain battery i now cry to come back to kitkat and i can't I have the D838 16G kitkat is the best even more fast.

In recent days battery is so pathetic ..I am now frustrating with lg it goes 5..6 %without any use in half an hr uhhhhh!!! I am going to sell this… if u have so many functions and u cant using ..whats thr use of that fone

AnonD-368272, 27 Feb 2015It kept it as 25%..You said you were browsing on 2g? In the case your area doesn't have 3g/4g you should go into the network settings and select "GSM only" otherwise your phone might be wasting battery always looking for a 3g/4g connection.

About battery, its good, even I thought it was bad.
To increase battery life, do not install any theme available in the LG store, unistall all unusedapp, use the phone as in stock
Is there a way to opt for power saving mode as in Samsung mobiles, that icon is missing.

I keep mine at 55%, wifi on 95% of the time and find the battery drains about 15% per hour with average usage (browsing, calls, messaging). By the time the battery gets to 50% I have about 2.5 to 3 hours on screen-on time but the remaining 50% will drain faster than the first.

I bought this mobile yesterday...after 1day of usage i want to share my experience and requesting for an advice regarding battery..
Before this phone i used samsung galaxy grand...so regarding screen size i got easily equiped..features of this phone r really awesome..but the only defect i found is battery backup....battery is draining too fast on usage..after browsing for half an hr on 2g net battery drained about nearly 15% .phone call about 5mins battery drained by nearly 5%..i tried battery saver app on playstore though not useful..is this happening to all other users..this phone has a lot of features but to use them and feel them battery is important,which is not providing by this phone.plz suggest me how to increase battery life...

This phone comes with a headphone, though of very average quality, if you haven't received one check if it is a refurbished phone.
