rahul, 08 Jul 2014TV out MHL not available in this phone The MHL to HDMI protocol has been discontinued. It's been replaced by Slimport to HDMI (using micro USB) in this phone. Buy a Slimport adapter and connect to TV using HDMI cable.

Guys any one facing issue of network problem. Whenever I am in a noisy area the other person on the phone cannot hear my voice properly but if i use another phone in the same area the person on the ph can hear my voice clearly. Also whenever i am travelling in car with all windows closed, other person on the phone complaints that my voice breaks a lot and at the same time when i use my S4 there is no such issue.

I want to own this phone... moreboth are good. if you pefer a big screen display go with the pro 2. the different between the 2 is that pro 2 can expend memory up to 64 gb , have 3gb ram (if you think having more ram is better)and removable battery. Both phones are Usb otg

the gpro 2 battery is quite good for a 5.9inch phone. for watching video on stock video play I recommand you adjust the video brightness to ard 50. you may also want to set auto brightness on phone. gaming heavy on this device will kill the battery.

                                    Experience regarding the battery:

                                    1. Fully charged, unplugged, the phone took over 2.5 hours off the charger with 20 minutes of on-screen time to drop to 99% (with wifi turned on).
                                    2. Typical day mostly messaging, browsing, reading PDF magazines, and calls with a little youtube and camera use the phone ran for 34 hours with a little over of 4 hours of on-screen time with 27% charge still remaining (again, with wifi turned on the whole time).
                                    3. Yes, watching videos and camera will drain the battery faster than you average phone.
                                    4. Cannot comment on fps games but I imagine will be the same as #3 above.
                                    5. Unbelievable stand-by performance, when you're not using it it barely drains, as in my previous comment, it can go overnight with wifi turned on and only lose 4%, if that.

I would conclude if you like to watch videos or play a lot of games then this is probably not the phone for you at least until LG gets its optimization sorted out. Personally I love the stand-by as before I was using a Samsung and it drove me nuts with how much it would drain when I wasn't even using it. For me and my usage patterns this phone easily gets through the day, the night and the next morning effortlessly.

Looks to be a great phone. Ok, the battery could be a problem if its used heavily for games as well as everything else. But,I've got the problem solved:Buy a second battery! Simples! I can't wait for LG to sort themselves out and allow us to buy the D837 European version asap. It will be a big hit in the UK if they get a move on.
