MikeH, 26 Jan 2010Can anyone help me to obtain a user manual for GB220? (Not ... morei too have a problem getting the user manual . I cant connect with T-mobile . there is no down load that will complete in fact nothing I can use except just make a call. canb't get my pictures off ,cant e-mail and the videio dosent work either.

I have got recently LG GB 220. Actually it has been imported from UK. The airtel sim is not being worked in it. It requires some decoding of s/w as somebody told. Is it required..?? I inserted sim but it displayed,"No sim inserted"...please do resolve it...

The User Manual is inadequate. I do not know how to key in a letter rather than a digit and it does not tell me. A man in the shop changed it so I could but when I got home it had changed back again. It says that the manual may not apply as the supplier may have changed the programme. The LG website had no details for the Model Number shown on the box (GB220). The LG website had no email address that I could find to ask questions. The forum seemd to contain desparate stories by users such as one who was being charged over £100 a month by direct debit and could not stop it.
I can use it to answer calls and make them. That was what it was bought for and I luckily insisted that it was prepay.

every time i recieve a txt it says message initializing for about 3days !!!!!!!!!!!!! very annoying as i love everything else about this phone , i try everything taking battery out etc any idea's thanks

Thats the normal way on every other phone, just look at where it says T9abc on top, might have do that 2 or 3 times until you have "abc".

I have this phone, but when I reach into my bag to get it out, I've already missed my call, probably due to the huge amount of junk in my bag, anyway, can anyone tell me how to make it ring for longer than? thanks

hi all, i just goit my phone and it sez i need a security code for some stuff but i havn't set one. i dont know what the code is as i havn't set it. mi cant change it either as i need tghe code. ive read the manual 5 times but still no mclue. does the phone cum with a certain code that u need? plz help me

A SHORT DESCRIPTION OF THIS PHONE:
MP3 RINGTONES, CALLER PHOTO ID, FM RADIO, PLAYER, E-MAIL (I USE GMAIL), xHTML protocol (mini Opera works well, but i downloaded it separately), SMS, MMS, EMS. PHOTO/VIDEO CAMERA, SOUND RECORDER.
when i want to delete more sms, i just make a "mark all" and delete it.
if i want to send sms/mms to more recipients i can send to 10 recipients at the time.
Bluetooth works great. I can download full mp3's via another mobile or pc.
It has ONLY 5.9mb internal memory, but it also has a micro-SD card support, so i have 2GB micro-SD and it works also really well.
PROS:
Great mobile, nice design, mp3 ringtones, small, great looking and stylish also good in price.
CONS:
1. sometime it has a GLITCH or LAG: when i open it, i see only a white color there for i must to restart a mobile.
2. When i bought it from eBay (SIM unlocked)it has a T-mobile logo.
3. Sometimes when i insert a micro SD card it appears to be unrecognizable by the phone, so i must reinsert the card (maybe there is a card problem, not a phone).
Conclusion:
If you want a phone that is great on design, has a lot of features and is cheap, but has a quality...BUY IT.

How can I reject a call without opening the flip?
Can it be set so that opening the flip is not enough to answer a call (I want to have to press a key after opening the flip)
