There is no option to minimize your music if you want to write SMS or dial new call or check the other features.
There is no option to turn off the Homescreen setting
Trouble in using the touch screen
You can hear some different sound similar to if you wave your hands in a water (splash)
Document viewer not at all working. Often I am getting the error message as "Maximum File size exceeded"

screen is not glass. evgery part of it is easily scratched. it is a slow machine. internet is very very slow even not working usually. if you buy you will regret. i assure you.

this phone has an impressive design and it is cheaper than classmates. however it is very slow, touchscreen is not sensitive, phone usage is limited cz operating system (lg's own) is weak.

This phone is awful don't buy! Slow/non-existent working internet and not much better when using your own wi-fi! Very slow working and not very sensitive screen- it's a pain in the back side for sending texts and using generally! Even more annoying, when the phone is in silent mode, the low battery sound continually beeps, you can't turn it off!

this phone is awesome, iam using this since Dec 2009
internet speed is good on PC as well as phone. picture quality is good ,battery backup OK. sound is excellent
with Dolby sound,..............plz once use it.

Fellows, When I look at the voting result it seems like this phone is perfect but when I read the comments it comes to me this phone is totally failure. I reached a conclucion that people having problem with this phone write the problems whereas others who are ok with the phone dont.What should I consider ,If I want to buy a phone ?

Blank screen problem solution
* 1 - Go to menu builder using this code 1809#*900#
* 2 - In this menu select OTHERS.
* 3 - Once the OTHERS menu, choose now PROXIMITY.
* 4 - Put your finger on the cell near the target is in front and press Start Calibration, the value of the displayed number should then be changed after a few seconds (2-6 seconds).
* 5 - Now go back to the main screen of your GC900 and test if it works by calling yourself from another device.

Anonymous, 06 May 2011Took all screen covers off and still the same - blank while... moreI had the same problem screen went completely blank when making and receiving calls so I couldn't answer calls. I did a proximity calibration (found in phone settings) and this solved the problem. Also a live reboot where you disconnect the battery when the phone is switched on can help with any other issues. I no longer have this problem :)
