hi all lg gm200 is good but it does not support mp4,java i.e nkjv bible version,,, videos only 3gp is little k and we cannot minimize the mp3 songs

Never ever buy this phone.Bought dis
crap for 3750.U can't use ur own headset.
When U plug it,the song skips to another
song.Sound is not dat
great compared to
some Onida,Intex &
Micromax models.
Camera clarity is
decent in bright sunlight.Battery is ok.
Just spend a few bucks &get a Samsung,SE or Nokia
phone.

Bad:
Bad camera and video, no flash
SD Card 2 Mb max
Cannot search song by name
Bought this one 2 months ago only for its loudspeaker, and made the good choice, very happy !
Wonder why Samsung doesn't make a phone like that cheap with great loudspeakers, would be a success.

i bought this mobile set for irs.4000 in raxual.i found this set as average.the best thing in this set is music system of dolby.video & camera is average.it's outlook is praiseworthy in front side .overall this hand set is satifactory in such price.

hi i bought this mobile in november 2010. It has good sound quality but not like samsung which gives 3D effect,video quality in landscape mod in very bad,battery backup is gud,camera is ok.My rating would be 7/10.

BOT, 19 Dec 2010I need a phone that have 8gb external memory as need to put... morei don't have any idea about cedar but i m sure it would be a better choice. if you need all these things then forget gm200 it has serious restrictions details are down here (copy pasting older post.
i bought it in august 2009 and used for almost 6 months. one of my friends bought 5130xm and we compared it many times. following are its goods and bads.
GOODS:
its only good thing is perfect sound in both headphones and loudspeakers (and also its shape i love it. mine is silver). i've not heard any mobile with so loud & clear sound in loudspeakers. i bet it is far more better than 5130xm in loudspeakers. it is loud and clear in headphones also and gives u reasonable bass. its headphones gives you more bass than 5130's because headphones of 5130 are of bad quality. but when you plug gm200's headfones in 5130 then they both perform equally or 5130 performs negligibly better may be 1% better.
BADS:
1. you can't resume the song from where you stopped it.
2. no way to go directly to a specific song. you'l have to scroll all the way down to the desired song.
3. radio can't be minimized. (some say that it is possible by firmware updat but i don't know about it)
4. radio recording sometimes skips half of a second of recording which feels chopy and irritating when you listen your recorded song. (may be only my mobile problem)
5. its camera is not so good. 5130's camera is better.
6. keypad is not so good. 5130's keypad is better.
7. sms memory 130-150 depends upon the length of saved msgs. 5130 has got unlimited memory.
8. sms is not sent in background so you have to wait and cant do anything else unless sms is sent (longer sms = longer wait/trouble).5130 sends sms in bakground.
9. user interface is not user friendly rather its "user enemily":-).
10. really really less customization options.
11. its back starts to get scratched (in silver color) & fade away after few months though it looks beautiful initially.
i am afraid you may get bored sooner even if you are deeply in love with music and its sound quality

Dear Nevin/Vinayak,
I am looking for a good quality/compatible head phone for this set which should provide all the DOLBY effect. The one provided with the purchase of the set is too big to fit into ears. I tried one in the local market which has rubber earbuds,but the sound effect is not good.Please help

Great phone, best music phone, sound power and clarity, is unbelievable.
Bad camera but don't care. Only 2Gb SD card max, but enough for me
Good keyboard, phone really fast too
No better phone to listen to music with your friends

Can i use 4gb sandisk Microsd which is class 2 for this phone or not and will it support or not as need to put songs, pictures and some applications. Do i need to upgrade software to support up to 4gb or 8gb microsd which is class 2 and class 4 or not. Please reply it as am getting a few weeks time.
