It's even possible to use a 4GB card. I use one with the GU230, whic seems to have the same technical specifications. I recommend you to buy a slow SDHC MicroSD 4GB card (not faster than class 2).

After lot of research, bought LG GM200 phone on 9/12/10 for INR 3600. This is the best phone for a music lover. The sound quality of the music is better than any phone or personal media players whether you listen through earphone or through the speakers.

BOT, 19 Dec 2010I need a phone that have 8gb external memory as need to put... moredude!! gm200 expandable to only 2!! i feel you shoul go for cedar...only thing picture quality of cedar is average... elsi it's the best phone in inr 5-6k range!!

I need a phone that have 8gb external memory as need to put songs, pictures and applications. I am not sure to choose GM200 or Cedar. I need for music, camera, bluetooth, alarms, messages and others. Please tell me which one should i go for and why as am getting it in a few weeks time if possible.

I have been using it for about 1 yr.
It turned out to be great music player. It gives great images, with problem that it can magnify few.It runs videos satisfactory. It has got great cordless radio, a rare feature, with problem of less MHz range, but it runs all main radio stations of my city.It hangs sometime during playing radio or during editing radio MHz.
I am more than satisfied with it. I purchased it because of its cordless radio feature & satisfactory & complete multimedia features. Bottom line, I give it 9 out of 10. Having all these features in just 3.5 grands is a very profitable deal. Company should continue these product.

yeah i agree... nokia x2's keypad's that flat type.. sucks!!
am saying if your playin songs via ear-phones then when you minimise the ui becomes too slow!!

Can anybody tell me why this phone cannot support up to 8gb MicroSd or need to upgrade firmware to get this. I like this phone but this is my only question so anybody kindly tell me the answer as soon as possible. I will get it in a few weeks time.

Love the phone, for only 80 euros. Camera is bad but i don't use it

Neo, 14 Dec 2010this phone is excelentyes bro i agree!! it's a brilliant phone for that price... but keypad is not good.... and slow UI... if im listenin to songs an i minimize the player, the phone becomes slow... msgin an al becomes lil hard.... and all this with 1gb card in it... imagine wid 2gb!!

Best music phone you can buy, but memory card only 2Gb.
Bad camera but don't care, only use it for loud music
