This phone is useless!Almost none of the java apps works on this phone.Internet is very slow whereas with same card on a sony its blazing fast.It hangs many times especially when listening to radio.Opera mini,nimbuzz don't connect to the net.Wish i could run symbian s40 on this phone.LG shold really release a firmware update/

hi
my lg phone was doing problem so i went to company and fix it by software update but now. my phone is not supporting pc suite. before software update PC SUITE WORKS.
but now it support only data transfer from data cable. it doesn't detect PC SUITE.. what should i do ?

I am using LG GM 200 from last 1 week. I want to know that how can we jump to next line directly instead of giving so many spaces while typing a text message? And what is the capacity of the inbox storage of this mobile ?

adzer, 01 Aug 2010yep... i went to wellcom megamall yesterday. unfortunately,... moreno buddy.. you cannot say LG like that.. many of us have bought this handset and using this.. i am so much happy with mine.. maybe yours is an 'unit' problem.. you better replace it with a new GM200. just use your warranty and do that. that's the best solution i think.

Mopz, 31 Jul 2010Which service center is it? the one in Robinson's Galleria?... moreyep... i went to wellcom megamall yesterday. unfortunately, the software flashing didn't solve my problem. my handset is still suffering from the cut-mp3 playback. i'm already tired with this unit that's why i'm gonna go back to my previous handset brand. LG sucks... big time!

why i am not able to connect it to pc ,i had installed cd given with phone still data cable is not conectg and im unable to sycronise my p.contacts to pc.nor able to open phone thru pc. kindly help immmdtly

I'm actually considering go... moreyep, their head office is located in pasig. but the LG customer representative told me that i can go to wellcom at robinsons galleria cause it's also one of their authorized service centers. so i'll try to bring my handset first in wellcom and if they can't solve it, i'll bring it to pasig. btw, this is the 1st time i've used LG and frankly, i'm disappointed.

OK! let me c what is waiting 4 me! hey! it has mp3 player but has it any music library?? can i store my songs accordingly artists,albums,geners??another question. if i use 2GB microSD then will it slow in speed?? umm....another question! to use this phone as a EDGE modem does it need 2 install driver??

I have use... moreActually i want 2 run mig33 and opera mini in this phone.and i know that those apps run most of the models.but i surprized 2 learn 4rm u that it stores jar files up2 5MB!!!!! LG should change their policy.....i learned that it has no call recording option! these kinds of limitation made a difference between NOKIA and other brands.NOKIA phone lasts so long.Thats why people satisfied with Nokia phones.I choose 2 phones...nokia 2700 classic and this lg gm200...i'll certainly try2buy lg gm200 bcoz of some lovely features...but i m afraid! will this phone satisfy me???

It delivers the speed up to 200 kpbs (because of EDGE Class 10, Many latest Nokia Phones have EDGE Class 32 and 33 which give better Speed than this).
Build Quality is good, you dont have to worry about the features that it claims to have, they do work well.
Superb Music, better than many high priced phones.
Wireless Radio and loud speakers are good too.
Of course the screen size and resolutions are the limitations.
Not many java applications perform really well due to screen size and resolution and of course there is another limitation of only 5 MB memory for Games and Applications.
Battery is good.
If you listen to music more than you play games then you should seriously consider this phone.
I don't think one can expect more than what this phone offers for the price of less than INR 4000.
Even though I want for bigger screen and better resolution, but for this price I am pretty happy with this phone.

but the there's no call recording function, and neither can be done with any external software. JAVA software is supported by this handset, but it does have some limitations over the Firmware and its activities. so no luck for call recording.
