i think its the new one.. but there is no sure way to know i guess.
i tried finding it out myself but i couldn't be patient enough.

Bet your radio doesn't have a minimize option either. If so, get the latest update. It comes with a lot of fixes. And yes the resume option has been added in the latest update.

Have you tried the onboard image editor...
I think this is another cool feature of this phone. You must try it out coz I don't use photoshop anymore to resize pics for setting wallpaper.
And this is one feature which I have not seen on even high end phones.
Yes nokia phones have a built in photo editor but compared to this, it's just a mere toy as the output image is good only in the phone and doesn't even come close to what this phone can do.

Well for backing up contac... moreNo i meant wheneva i am listening to music and if i get a call and after attending the call, the music does not resume from where it had paused and i have to go to the playlist to start allover again :(
The same happens while playing games or accessing applications? Should i go for firmware upgrade?

Well for backing up contacts, I used to do it via PC using the PC sync software. But as I found out later, backing up phone book from the phone is way more easy and is less complicated compared to using PC sync.
It does the same job as the PC sync software. It's one of the coolest features of this phone too. As you have already backed up the phone book onto the memory card, just copy the file which is saved as a .VCF file of a few KB stored in the others folder of ext memory. You can copy that file onto the laptop just to make a backup copy of the original file. This way, even if by any means your memory card is corrupted, all you need to do is copy this file onto the memory crd and when you access the file through the phone, the file is automatically detected as a phonebook backup and the restore option will automatically add all the numbers to your phone book.
As it is so easy to do, I make a backup of my phone book atleast once every week. this way all my contacts backup will be upto date.
If you want to back up using PC sync software, I've already posted on this forum how to do it. Just check it out..
You just back up your phone book and messages if you want to.. make sure you have the original bill with you and that's about it..
About the call issue..
Do you mean that the playlist you've created?
if so.. just goto the mp3 menu and before playing the music, first create the playlist and then come out of the mp3 menu. This way your playlist will get saved. Then play the music from your playlist as usual. Hope it resolves your problem..

you may try out the following applications, RSS reader,mini notepad, google maps, & mobile task manager, I guess you should go to getjar.com, and another site, called substance of code.com and download. I have these in mine too, and they are useful, I guess.cheers!

I guess 2.5K is a reasonable price. I say this because, SE phone accessories are very expensive and if the phone has battery issues, you'll be spending 1.2K extra on it. That why...

The application automatically pauses on my phone... And I kinda have the latest firmware version. Checked it with the service center.
Yes it is advisable to take it to the service center for a quick update. I've seena a lot of changes like this since each update. So it's just gonna keep on improving and that the best part.

Reg ur firs problem just take ur cell to the nearest LG service center and ask them to upgrade the firmware, ur grevience will be solved. Other problems i am yet to explore my cell myself!

SOUND is very good. Everyone appratiate with it's sound. But following problems are encountered:-
1. Suppose a call is coming while hearing a song then song will not start the position where we left it.
We need to start song again which is very big problem.
2. Cost setting feature is not available as in Nokia's mobile.
3. We can't create user defined message folder to save our SMS. Only, Draft is available; Archive folder is not available; "move to archive" option is missing.
4. SMS storage capacity is very low.
