After the firmware update(software update)....
I have noticed that the MP3 player is fixed..
The player used to skip to next song displaying the PLAYER ERROR, now its fixed too...
The Mp3 player now plays all the songs correctly from the starting...
If we come to the radio background playing..
its good..but, now if we receive an SMS the radio quits from background..
It has to be fixed....

I bought this phone 2 days ago. In Indonesia it priced 755.000 rupiah (76 US$) at now. The sound is very clear and loud.. No bad issue about sms and UI speed, it works normally. But sadly u just can use two theme pre installed. In my opinion, this phone worthed enough for everybody who love music :-)

I'm just an ordinary person commited to serving all my GM200 mates. I'm just sharing what I know and if you find it useful, then that's all the satisfaction I need.
If you're talking about the cell info display, then this phone supports this feature. I've already written a post on how to activate it. To make it much easier for you, i'm just gonna past it from my previous post.
To activate cell info display, just goto messages-> Settings-> info message-> receive-> on and alerts-> on.
Come back to messages-> info message-> topics-> (if there are no topics set, then set new topic by entering subject code as '50' and subject as '50') save it and mark 50 as active list.
Goto standby and if message appears, you're done... it comes preloaded with a bunch of channels in latest firmware version. So just try it and see if it works.

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2009seems to be good..... how do you download or copy video fil... moreThis phone supports mass storage mode. So simply goto the connectivity menu and change connectivity mode to mass storage. This recognizes the phone as removeable disk on connecting to the PC.
You can simply drag and drop video files onto the vdeo folder or any other folder.
The supported formats are .3gp (h.263) and mp4(mpeg4).
It supports playback of 176X220 or 320X240 resolution videos.
The recommended data rate would be 200-400kbps for video and 64-96 for audio.
mp4 videos can have mpeg4 or xvid codec. both works equally well and 25fps would be the optimal frame rate.

Tried different file systems and different allocation units but still no luck. Still hoping that micro SDHC profile will be implemented on this mobile soon.

The other neat thing about this phone is that even if the internal momory or external memory is full, unlike Nokia phones, it won't slow down or crash the phone.

It's great to have people like you that really appreciate this mobile. I know that this mobile can't replace a good old Nokia but I'm quite sure that it won't disappoint you.
The earphones that comes bundled with the phone is pretty good. The sound quality is much better than that of some of the express music headsets i've tried. The only thing lacking is goo bass response.
I own a Sony MDR-ED12LP earphones and they are very good at producing good bass response. You will enjoy it if you are a bass addict or a metalhead.
In addition, I also own a Philips SHH9700 inear earphones for Xpress Music which I bought for 1500Rs. It is a little better with the higher frequencies and the bass is tight. But the bass lacks the depth and the output is a bit low compared to my Sony. So you have to pump up the volume a bit more to get the optimum sound output.
Under a budget of 800Rs which is quite low as I have realised by now, Sony MDR-ED12LP is the best buy according to me. And if you are that keen on sound quality, the OEM headset should be enough to meet your requirements.
When I bought this mobile 3months back, it came with a Sandisk 1GB memory card in the package. Don't know if there is any change being made after that.
