It's just that once you start playing the video, you cannot change the view mode in between playback You have to stop the video and then change it.

First install the PC suite from the supplied software CD.
Next on the phone under connectivity, set USB connection to Data Service and then connect the phone using the data cable.
Start the PC sync program and on the top of the window, there is a message icon. Click on that and to the left there is a connect button. click on the connect button.
All your messages will be displayed on the right side of the window.
Tick the select all button toward the bottom and then click the green upload button.
All the selected messages will be saved to the computer.
To back up all the megssages, select all the messages and then under the file menu on top, click export.
Select the file format CSV or TAB and then assign any file name and save it to your desired location.
Just follow the same steps to upload messages from PC to phone. Instead of export, use the import option.
To compose a new message on PC, click on the New button on the left hand bottom corner of the window.
After saving the message, do the same procedure to upload it to the phone.
Try it and let me know if you come up with any difficulties, I'll be morethan glad to help you out.

Definitely.. you can store your inbox messages onto the computer and even export the messages as CSV files (which can be opened in MS office) or TAB files so that it can be saved for future purposes.
Yes you can also compose messages in computer and then send them to the mobile. The messages will be saved in the drafts folder. You can even send the composed message from the PC itself.

ya, its a nice phone for music lovers, the music output is great, but the user interface is little worse phone is hanging often. but it is worth for its price*******

I am a new user.. Plz some body guide on this along with procedure. I guess it helps for many people here..

Very good and trendy phone. But some drawbacks :
. No call recording
. camera and video quality is not that good
. phone memory is too small

But sound output is superb thanks to dolby integration for video files too. 320x240 and 176x144 videos work just fine even at higher bit rates. the only problem is that once you start palying a video, there is no option to change display to landscape mode. It has to be changed before playing the video.

its one of the most wondered phone. sound clarity is wonderful . this is 100% better than nokia 5130 express music. i have become the fan of lg200

Newer phns like 5130 and 6303 allows u to take backup of settings, contacts, messages, bookmarks, calender, gallery, and apps and games to the memory card. YOu can choose to make a backup of any of these individually as well. Contacts alone wud be less than 100kb. backup is created as NBF files. It can sent ovr BT to other phns and you can restore files on that phn provided its a nokia device supporting NBF backup restore. Do try sending ur contacts backup(VCF) to ur frnds 5130 see whether it wrks.
