Dan, 03 Nov 2009Hello nevin,do you know how to update lg firmware without g... moreYeah there is a firmware update software available from the LG official website. You just download it and install. After installation, start the firmware update program and connect your phone using data services mode and not mass storage mode. The software will automatically search the net for latest firmware availability and if it is available, you can simply download the necessary drivers and then update the firmware over the air. I'm not sure whether it will work with KG300. Anyways just give it a try.

I've one tips when playing mp3 in gm200.when you got a bad mp3 quality while playing with so much noise or distorsion,dont delete the file.try to turn on the doulby system first.

saravanan, 03 Nov 2009how to call recording in LG GM200..Please Tell me Ans...Ok frankly this is one of the things that just pi##ed me off with this phone. It doesn't have a call recording facility. With such a feature rich phone, think they might have forgot to put one in. My previous LG had a superb one and most low price phones do have it but as to my knowledge, there is no call record facility available yet. Maybe we can expect it in the next firmware update.

Did you know that GM200 has native bluetooth file transfer profile for accessing all the files from another phone using BT connectivity. It is as easy as copying files from one drive to another. In addition, it is much more faster and easier than conventional file transfer methods. You can choose what you want to take. As with nokia and SE phones, you need a 3rd party software to do this.

Midhun, 03 Nov 2009Does anyone have an idea about improving the messaging capa... moreHey.. it's just stated in the product spec that it can store about 500 messages. As i am a relatively new user and don't do well with messaging, haven't beeen able to actually stuff my inbox with messages and try out the actual capacity. In the memory info, the message capacity is shown as shared memory and not as no of messages. So expecting it to be a little more than that.

I know that it's got a better audio than many of the music phones featured here. Just need a scientific test result to prove my point...

so if you want to compare camera, compare it with camera phone. lol...

Anonymous, 02 Nov 2009But you sure can compare audio quality...If 5130XM can do b... morei think you should see the gsm arena audio quality test, it's shown that 5130XM almost has the same output quality with iPod touch 2G which is one of the best music player. and i think GM200 dit it too, it has great sound output.
and about W995, yes it has good sound too, but the score of the test is little bit lower than 5130XM.
notes: i have SE walkman too
