BTW, my LG GS290's mainboard broke about a month out of warranty, and I didn't have to pay as LG honoured my warranty! HA BITCHES

The touch screen failed even before warranty, but company people charged to fix it. Phone sucks!

At its range, nt a bad one. Bt my one gv a lot of trouble. The chrgr was nt workin, oftn gt hangd, dnt support mp4 format.,, i mst say looks gud bt works nt dat gud..:-)

touch screen failed exactly the next day after 1 year guarantee was over and i am not able to find a service center in chennai...worst model. worst model of lg...
lesson: dont ever buy any model at least till six months of its intro in market

Very bad experience, touch does not works properly, the transfer of data va bluetooth takes a long time, it takes a long a time to load the files when external memory is inserted...
Better dont buy lg gs 290

Go to Menu → Connectivity →Access Point →Add Access point
•Connection Title : AircelGPRS
•Bearer : GPRS
•Authentication : No Authentication
•APN : aircelgprs
Now Save Access Point Setting and come back in Connectivity Panel Select Internet Profiles and Add Profile.
•Title : AircelGPRS
•Use Proxy : No
•Access Point : Select Created Access Point from the list(i.e. AircelGPRS).
Save the Internet Profile. We are done with the setting but to browse we have to configure the setting in Browser.
So go to Menu → Browser → Settings → Profiles → Add Profile
•Title : AircelGPRS
•Homepage : http://www.google.com
•Interne profile : Select the Created internet profile from the list (i.e. AircelGPRS).

dont buy lg models touch phones there no solution for software problem. no support from lg website. better buy iphone black berry or samsung...

The phone is good nevertheless d touchscreen failed after few months, so needed replacement. Apart from that internal antenna for fm radio, doesnt work tne way it should. Overall nice phone, in the price range that its offerd.

not satisfied with the touch screen, it's functioning failed within one year of purchase, any how the model has stopped, hence cannot suggest to buy.

features r really superb..i like the sliding of 3 wallpaper screens,,,once i dropped it and the touch hasnt workd properly,,by next month some idiot has stolen it...
