This phone DOES NOT have accelerometer. The UI (user interface) turns only at user's request by pressing a portrait/landscape button or selecting the option from a menu. The phone does not turn the UI if you tilt the phone. Also, on LG's product page there's no mention of accelerometer in the phone's specifications.
Please correct this.

new user, 05 Jan 2011i am not able to play mp4 videos on my gs290. so,please he... morehey use lg pc suit to convert videos into gs290 mpa format. it is simple start lg pc suit go to vidios put your video in it and then right click on it swith to edit

recently i brought dis phone...its 1st luk z gud but dont have much advantages..nokia 5233 z far much better dan dis.camera clearity z nt gud..i cant play or open anethng else while making a call

well theres this little thing that pops up at the top of my lg gs290 and when it does it means that theres "conflict with my top menu" and i dont know how to fix that ... help ?

I can not type when i call on special services and i must pres '1' or '2' to go inside the menu.
