As far as i knw, ths is a gud gadget. Very stylish, low weight, nice interface. Smtymes it gets hanged. Very rare ofcourse. Sound is gud, no auto rotation of the screen lyk cookie. Main disadvantage is BATTERY. and its havin a dumb inbuilt browser. Very slow. Gud thng is phone supports java. And, and, and what? :-/ hmm, ya, its nt supporting streaming video like YOUTUBE and online videos. A big drawback. How cum they missed ths feature to include. Its nice. My marks for ths are 7 on d scale of 10. in The cut 3 marks 2 are for poor battery and 1 for the online streaming video disability...;-)

it has all good high end features but why the f*** u forgot to put the basic application. in this phone i cant see the number who is calling.. and there are no perticular option also so that i can set it

what about d availablity of 3rd party apps & games for dis mobile and pls list me the Apps & games preinstalled in ur cookie..
About Battery life, what type user u are moderate(some calls, txts & some music) or High end user(frequent internet user, lots of music & txts)..
Multitasking, i knew that cookie is a low end multitasker.. many users reporting that it hangs & shows d LOW MEMORY Warnings.. did u face any wierd problem like that..
phone is bundled with 2gb card & screen protector, is it true???
I'm currently using N97 mini a.k.a HANG MACHNE which is d worst phone with irresponsive RESISTIVE SCRREN so i'm really afraid about d Cookie's resistive screen..
How about touch responsiveness after the screen protector was sticked..
frnd pls dont mind about the long question list, pls help me dude..
BTW my choice of phones are Cookie fresh,LG GW300, Corby s3650..

Try getting some samsung mobile, they are good value for money, have more resale value than LG mobile have..

Features are very nice in this mobile, but it lacks when it comes to battery backup and service support...
Gave the mobile to LG service center in Adyar, they took the mob for service without the bill copy cos the mobile was launched in this APril so they told it will be still in warranty, thats a + and i have never seen any service center taking mobile without the bill...
I mentioned few problems like battery charging and Touch panel and software update and all..
They only fixed the Touch panel and they took 24days for fixing it..
I tried doing the software update on my own and the mobile got locked with an yellow screen, taken it again to the LG service center and they fixed it for me within 30min max..
The build in browser for this mobile is really a stupid browser, it wont save the user preference setting of a site, like when u change the setting of GOOGLE search it wont save the Preference, or when u log in to Gmail or yahoo it wont save the id and password when u click login, it will return back to main log in screen again..
Opera Mini sucks real time when it comes to loading or typing a text for searching..
facebook app runs fine in this mobile, but am not a FB fan, music player output sound works really nice and i was happy with the output sound during in heavy traffic..
Mobile get fairly warm when not in issue which drains all my battery, which drains within 2hrs after a full charge, changed to a new battery of Rs285 and still the problem stays..
Max i have to charge a new battery for 6hrs to make it show battery full and when i unplug and plug it again in a sec when it shows battery full, the mobile will take another 6hrs to show battery full for a new battery...
Normally it will take max 3hr 30min to make a battery full, if the mobile has been charged correctly in the 1st time...
Samsung mobiles are far much more better than this mobiles, just 2hrs of charge and max it will last long for 3day or 2days depends upon the use of it...
Finally with all these problem i sold my mobile and i am bit relieved from it...
Would never be going again with LG mobiles..
User who is willing to spend 6k on this mobile, kindly move on with some Samsung mobiles or Nokia mobile or some better mobiles, kindly dont go for LG mobile, if you are into browsing, get Nokia symbian touch screen mobile which can be customized on user preference..
Hope this helps the new mobile buyer to know more about the mobile...

not a good one in working,but stylish,feels good if you own it. does not supports good techcnologies such as infrared,3g etc.from my side 6 marks out of ten.

i Bought LG GS290 on this Diwali, mob is good features wise & touch is very smooth, but its battary functions very low, it discharges very soon, if i heard music for contineous 5 hours then battery get discharges..
