- Handwriting recognition
and also is the phone has on screen Qwerty Keypad?

[GOOD THINGS]
-Hey for the price amount this is a very good phone, the audio quality is very very good & it's better when u use a high quality earphone like "Creative".
-Very clear camera.
-Very good and sensative touch screene.
-One touch access to social networking sites like Facebook, Orkut, Twitter etc.
-Good battery backup.
[BAD THINGS]
-The "Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate" does not function in my mob....i'm not sure what the issue is????
-U cannot switch off the Camera shutter sound.
-There is No Zoom option while taking photos.
-Does not come with a Protective case.(I had to buy my own).
-There is no separate speaker, the earpiece works as the speaker(But sound is ok)

muba, 25 Jul 2010does this phone have a on screen qwerty board?Yes, in messages, if you rotate the screen to make it face you widescreen, it will show a qwerty keyboard on screen which is very handy for me and for you.

i got this phone about a week ago, love it so much.. i just have a problem when i view the message in threaded view (yes, people, it has threaded sms viewer :) ), sometimes there will be a notice saying "maximum applications limit reached" and i can't reply or open any other apps. how to solve this or maybe it is the way i use that is wrong? i have to turn off and on it again to reset the apps.. thanks in advance

this handset is concentrated for headset quality. but it is more audible than nokia 5230...no motion sensor, thats the only disadvantage what we will find from nokia 5230.....any way i love this java phone LG GS290 than the handset i had before...
