Hi all, is there anyway I can check the total no. of messages I have sent besides checking it out at the Sent Messages box? E.g. Total outgoing call duration etc.

i have this phone for 7 weeks always charging it last night i charged it at 9 o clock it was full left phone off all night turned on at work 8 o clock and by 2 o clock this afternoon it was flat and i had only used it for a ten min talk and a few texts .orange are sending me a new phone so see how it goes i wish i never got it and stuck to nokias .these lg s must be no good for my carbon footprint as its always on charge is there any way to get out of my contrct that i never signed i was due a upgrde so stck with this for 2 years

Since I use the GPS mostly in the car with a power cord this is not an issue.
One thing I have noticed is that battery life has improved since I flashed the phone with original LG firmware to replace the Orange branded stuff.

A 3-G phone with a host of features must have a 1300mAh battery for longer battery life.A normal phone like KP199 has 1350 mAh battery. LG some times goes very mad. GM200 has 1100mAh battery. But a premium and the most advanced phone like GT505 has 1000mAh battery. A mindless decision by LG in choosing battery.

Regarding SAR, the low value published online is apparently not correct, at least when you get the phone from T-mobile UK. The included manual states that the SAR values are 1.14w/KG at the ear and 1.67w/KG at the body, which is extremely high compared to most other phones. As the jury is still technically out on the health effects of mobile phones, I'm returning this and going for the Nokia E72 - a very different phone but with some nice features and a substantially lower SAR value.

I've got this phone for 3 weeks. I like it a lot but... moreThe thing about GPS is that you have to in the open air and let the phone completely still (place it on a table for instance) for a few minutes. After it first connects to the satellite, you may move. This works for me at least.
