waiting for this phone to be illegally upgraded to even 2.2 or better for the 2.3 ANDROID OS!

Its a nice phone and using for last 1 year...but i am facing some strange problems regarding SMS..
1> Sometime the incoming SMS simply doesn't come...if you remove the SIM card and place it again and then restart, suddenly old SMS starts coming...why it is happening? and also the timing of the incoming SMS are shown is the current time..not the original sending time by sender...
2> Lenghty meggages above more than 3 messages automatically converts in MMS...How to stop it?
3> When i am talking with someone, there is no option to go to phonebook and SMS...i can not do conference call also...so call from contact book is not possible...what is the solution..

Hey guys i just got this phone 2 days back . But i am facing a problem its very slow . Why that so even when i oprn any page or folder screen sumtimes get black for a time being . So pls solve my this or solution . Thnanks

Pls guys i just bought this phone. I observe that it runs on android 1.6 and it is slow also i don't see android markert icon as well as the youtube icon among the menu :-( pls guys i need your advice on what to do

After upgrading android to 2.1 have problems with android market. Won't start downloading applications..tried to do anything written on the internet but nothing helped.. anybody maybe know what to do? Will upgrading to 2.2. help me? Thank you

Does this phone has really the following 3G Network specs: HSDPA 900 / 2100 HSDPA 850 / 2100?
On the box is mentioned only 900/2100 and I can not connect it in 3G with 850/1900. Thx

If not, take the phone back to where you bought it/contact LG. I have this phone and have never experienced this problem (neither on android 1.6 nor 2.1). It is a rather slow/low spec phone, so depending on how many apps you have installed, you might get better performance by using ATK to kill running apps that you are not using.

Anyone know of a reliable update from anywhere to take the Optimus GT-540 to Android 2.2 and also if anyone knows of a supplier of replacement housing as my partner has one and it has been dropped and the corner chipped and I would like to put it back to original condition.
All help appreciated.
