I recenly upgrate this phone to android 2.1 ...but I have some problem when i strt the phone-no lg and android logo apears,and bad video cuality ....
Does someone know how to reinstal 2.1...is that posible?

I did upgrate on this phone to android 2.1 ...everyting works perfect...But now the video format is 3GPP and the qality of recorded videos is worst than the previous OS 1.6 (in 1.6 video format was mp4)..... is there any solution for fixing this ...PLS HELP .......

GUYS! does this phone has a anti virus apps?
and i just noticed that this phone has no camera flash at all, is it accessible and effective even when you use it in dark place or in the evening?

I bought optimus few days back and i noticed the sound cracks at highest volume. Does the 2.1 update in lg optimus will resolve this problem.

This mobile in not upgradable to latest version of android..only to version 2.1, version above that is not working. Think think think optimus....

my unit has great features,.i just hope u could do some renovation on the bat. life or sell an optinal bat. that can work longer,. that will make lg gt540 a perpect phone,.

i bought it for 11,790k. i just can't find how to remove the keypad tone and set the message tone alert with the music that i downloaded.

there will be a pc suite in your memory card..also u can goto lg site n dowload..
once u download the lg mobile update tool..change the location to india n update ur phone...m using 2.1 on y phone since long back...
you can upgrade ur OS to 2.1 at hme n lg customer care sucks..they dont know anythn at all...so help your self..find your own ways jus do some rsearch n u get all info..
