Hi guys, asked a question the other day about opps info for this phone. lg site, downloaded all ,still can't get at the manual. so my question today is this. when i drop this from a 15th floor window, will this phone be history or geography?

Why not just sync them with Google, then back them up from there, or send them(the backup CSV file) in an email to yourself, later.
Backing up to SD card..IMO, pointless, and more of a risk due to card corruption, than being safe in "the cloud".

Hi RFB and others,
In India it is official upgrade to 2.1. Beofre upgrading CCC people say I need need to copy all my contacts, messages, songs, photos and videos elsewhere. But i intend to copy to my SD card. I believe songs, photos and videos are already in SD card only.
How to transfer contacts and messages to SD card. My sim memory is full.
Kindly help.

Agreed, if he wants 5mp, then buy the phone with the 5mp camera..DOH!..lol.
As mp's dont equal quality, there are plenty of lower megapixel cameras which outshine higher ones..

If you want a 550, then go buy that instead! You're getting an entry-level smartphone for a very good price, and yet you STILL want to gripe about this and that!

And mms, why send a message, for a stupid amount of credit, with a really poor low res jpg, when you could send an email, with a full size pic in it?
(assuming your net was free, right tariff, etc).

Get a tariff that includes a net allowance, as just now, you don't have one as you are losing credit when it connects to the net, to get the feed.
Until then, every app will use your credit when it connects to the net, so diabling mobile network or using wifi is about your only other options.

logi, 02 Nov 2010hi plsss let me know how is the cam quality of this phone.Up to 3MP no flash = pretty average. Not great for dark places otherwise its pretty good.

Does anybody know how to delete rss reader application... moreMany ways.
1) Disable your internet by changing the APN or asking your service provider
2) Delete ALL the RSS feeds in the application
3) Root your phone and install Titanium Backup and uninstall the app from there
