Right..what's your issue?
The apps are now stored in the Ext2 partition.
They are also installed there too.
The only thing that will take your phone memory down is app data(cacheing like say for settings or map data), so for every handful of apps you install, it will go down a couple of meg.
What else do you want to know?
One last thing..If you have had apps installed before you used app2SD, then back them up with Astro, Uninstall the apps, then reinstall from your backup.
They will now be on the app2SD Ext2 partition and you will get your phone memory space back.

If you use abd..you can use a command prompt window typing "adb devices" without the qoutes, and that will tell you if your device is connected..sometimes it just needs debugging set to off then on, or it may need disconnected, and re-connected.

And set screen sleep to on/off(so the screen doesnt go off-can't remember what way it is), in there too.
Don't mount the SD card, it's debugging only, and mass storage should be off.
Also, its possible your phone isnt seen, so it may need reconnecting again, that's all.
