A suggestion for LG GW300 users. Those who have problem with its battery, i am sure must have overcharged it over a longer period of time. If u overcharge a Li-ion battery of any mobile/laptop it reduces its life and charge storage capacity. So it is highly recommended to only charge it till it is fully charged and do not leave it connected to the charger over night as is noticed in many cases.

The battery life on this phone is surprisingly good. I use it mostly for text so i have it going a lot and I only have to charge is once every 3 days.

Hi guys, I'm considering getting this phone with my contract. Just need to know a few point pls:
How many sms can you store? Does it works with 8gb card? Is there any decent organiser? Does it have any sort of document viewer?

okay guys i have had enough of people complanin about this phone... if u had so much expectations from a 6K phone(indian rupees) y did u buy one?y dint u go for a 24k expensive useless nokia phone bt i no u wud have had probs wid dat too!
a few ways to fasten ur phone GW300....
1.for complains regaredin the time taken by the phone to update the library...(wich nokia phones also do as slow as dis one)
soln-dont update ur track list...just play it from the memory card by goin to d location where u stored it...put the repeat on all and ur phone wud continue to play the next song..if u want to c wich d next song is go again to the place u hav stored it...
2.the mesagin takes time...
soln-deactivate the delivery reports...the system becomes fast! also avoid storin more than 300 texts leadin the phone to react slow!

plz plz pzl guys DO NOT BUY this phone..
I had this phone on 29th of the August ..& within 3days it got restarted...almost 8 times in half an hour..
der r so many problems wid the cell fone..!
the thing is ..its RAM or processing unit is not enough so dat it can't perform the multiple operations..wat eva u may du ..software reload or any thign ..this will tend to get restart while doing multiple operations, like sending via blkuetooth...loading music gallry or sending texts to multiple numbers.
please do not buy this fone.

i have a phone like this and im crazy about it especially the way it looks..its really a girly phone, however I know that it has instant messaging as a feature, but I dont know how to go about activating it, help anybody?

i just bought this phone. it has a very short battery life. with the brightness of the screen set to low and the keypads backlight off, the battery lasts for 2-3 days. with regular screen display settings, it only lasts for 1 day. it's a decent phone, it's just the battery that i don't like.
