I've been using this phone for awhile and i dont have any problem with...its worth the money for this basic phone...if u know how to use it u can get a lot from it.

I have been using it for while now good battery backup for two day, on aver 3 call per day, even i bought this only because of look other wise it basic phone no high fundas

Please look out for other options my earlier comment talks about the phone being use for basic use not for multi-tasking this phone lacks in all the areas.
I would strongly recommend you to look out for phones like the new Nokia C3 and E5. They are affordable and can do wonders when it comes to multi-tasking. If your looking for a phone that can do a multi-tasking with ease I'd strongly advice you pick the Nokia E5 it comes with 250 MB RAM and a 600Mhz Processor. It probably may cost you $250 to $300.

Hi guys! The LG GW300 is a basic phone though it does resemble like a Nokia e61 or the e63 it still lacks much. I've been viewing few of your comments in here. Lets go step by step.
Somebody did say the had trouble accessing Orkut cuz a message pops up saying "INSUFFICIENT MEMORY!" This is due to the 15MB RAM, you need more than just an 64MB RAM to run any large websites. I have had similar problems with my earlier phone which happens to be a Nokia e61i, now this is how a 15MB Memory works, 1/3 is used for your regular application running process and 2/3 is used by applications like phone book, SMS storage until and unless you don't have the option of storing the SMS on your SD Card its a waste of resources, Now Imagine you trying to run an Internet application on just 1MB Daaa.....it reminds you about the 1st generation computer that would take 24hour to run it.
Unfortunately LG hasn't been able to provide a good processor and a good onboard memory for this phone. The battery life suck big time and for the price you get better QWERTY phone in the market.
The LG GW300 is a basic phone don't expect much its for a newbie mobile phone user whose not going to touch more than the basic features of sms the phone book and last but not least music.
Important from a buyers point of view:
1. Always pick a phone that has good Onboard memory (64mb is fine if you were back in the 70 and there weren't that many high def websites) 256MB is highly recommended that accompanied by a good processor least you need is 400MHz processing speed for a decent multi-tasking. Also look for a Phone that offers you ROM(Read On Memory) of 128 to 512MB this helps you store data in your ROM and also increases the Mt(multi-tasking capability.)
2. Good battery life is very critical on such business/smartphones. Minimum is 6hrs but, with Nokia offering upto 9hrs talktime you would be confused with choice you have these days. Talktime has always to be considered cuz you don't wanna be in a middle of important phone call and realize that your phone just died on you only with 1hour of talk-time.
3. Voice and speaker phone quality has to be good. For a music phone or a business phone. Now I don't have to tell you why, you guys are smart enough to understand this.
4. If you have poor battery life try looking up www.mugenpowerbattery.com they do offer few power battery solutions for few models check if you can get a hold of it and enjoy talking with your partners whether business or loved ones.

when i start the music player my phone also get restart.. this made me to hate it a lot..
it is also a very slow in messaging and poor in voice and video reording and very dumb phone
