when I first bought this phone ($149NZD) it was nice to use ok the camera isn't much at taking decent pics which for a 2MP CCD you'd think it would be... no flash either which doesn't coincide with what is on LG's website also no GPS which also says it has on LG's website.... it had a problem with it not turning everything off properly when in power save mode so would go through the battery in 2 days had it reinstalled and all is good but still nowhere near the 400hrs (16 days) of standby time listed it falls short by 12 days....
it's great for txting and calls and that's it don't bother trying to find programs to run on it there isn't any well none that I've found the work... the phone after 2 years of use now has the problem of turning itself off when finished taking a video so you loose what you shot so now I'm looking for a new Phone with touch screen and android

meeeee, 15 Jul 2012Does any one know how to set up the threaded view for messg... morego to your inbox and options - (number 6) is threaded view. Choose that and it will then take a few seconds to load. Beware that using the threaded view does make the phone lag, and it doesnt usually keep the texts in order it's slightly random!!

The screen keeps turning on nd of if the battery is almost dead,jus buy a new battery nd twil work fine again

I got a problem with my LG GW300 that when ever I turn it on its screen turns on for 5 sec and after that turns off for 5 sec and again turns on for 5 sec then turns off for 5 sec and this repeats unless i take its battery out..... now I want to know what could be the problem ... whether it is soft ware pb.? or hardware pb.... kindly tell me as soon as possible .

A very good sturdy cell, but the software is quite slow, thats the only issue with this cell.

lg gw300mobile ke prossesing is very slow.i use this mobile before one year & six months.iski wajha se mujhe bahut economic loos hota hai please dont purses this mobile

I used this phone for almost two years .. I used to call like 2 or 3 hours a day and text like 50 sms a day .. and what a phone .. not a single issue .. it is very solid too .. i think for the price its worth it .. though the C105 is more handsome .. lol
If you want to buy a phone that will stay forever just buy this phone...
Guess what? the speaker of this phone is louder and more clear than Blackberry Bold (LATEST) .. tested that by myself ....
option is very bad .. very basic .. camera quality is too poor...
its a call and text mobile only
if you think of whatsapp ... there is no way on earth to install it

Can i download whatsapp from my phone,if not please guys help us download it i just think it a lot of fun having it on our phones and a lot of people are starting to like it. I love my phone i don't want to change it.
