Just got this today...had to get it on Orange and thats ok....I think its great...dont know about I phone or Blackberrys to compare...but had the Nokia N95 for ages and didnt think I'd ever cope with a touch screen so went for this with the Qwerty keypad..but honestly...am enjoying even texting on the screen so far... looking good to me ???

I got it today! its really good, a bit bulky but otherwise its brilliant! the touchscreen is incredible. i bought it on orange with the monkey package and i got unlimited texts and free music! its brilliant. i love the keypad it feels like your holding a mini-laptop in your hands. it also has a Windows Live Messenger App which is great you can speak to your friends using that and a facebook app. I love it!

Bateson, 19 Sep 2009LG make absolutely great Televisions but I have never known... moreyour right GW520 is not a bussiness phone this is a multimedia phone..You cant compare this mobile to Blackberry coz they are differ functions..Coz blackberry is more on for bussiness purpose like email but this phone is 1 of the best phone for multimedia......from the word LG & Blackberry they are almost far differ.....

Is this a good mobile? I'm getting a new mobile next week, and i have seen lots of phones that i'd like to buy, and i think this one is winning the battle. I think its a really nice looking phone and it looks like its not easily broken. It looks like it was built well and it doesnt look like it would be easy to lose, since of the weight. I think the features on it are really good, and my favourite parts are the QWERTY keyboard, music player and the livesquare. I think its very good for its price.

LG make absolutely great Televisions but I have never known why their phones are utter garbage, I once owned a Viewty and thought the design was gorgeous but functionality was pathetic, the 3.1 camera is poor can never compare to a CyberShot Sony Ericsson going at half the price eg (K770i) Its email function is non-existent and the touch insensitive screen is a toy, and for the same price you can hunt down a Blackberry Bold which will give rocket-powered email, a decent keyboard and an excellent 2mp camera, one thing I did like about the 520 is the lovely ringtones, but then again its just a toy and nothing more, if your a serious business user and your depending on the 520 as a business communications tool, the chances are it won't be the recession that will send your business through the floor.

I have it and it always freezes on me i have it on contract for 600 mins unltd texts ultd internet for 26.50 a month,
i always have to take the battery out and the msn on it is crap
