i have this wonderful phone but there is no blutooth file transfer how can i repair i wanna use the blutooth for sending and receiving files can any ome help me plz?

This phone absolutely rocks!
There's an open source firmware community project available - called OpenEtna.com - therein developers ported Cyanogen Mod for the LG Eve.
Just awesome, I did (without any knowledge about anything) the flashing within 2 minutes after reading the superb documentation.
CyanogenMod rocks and it's stunning fast now. Everything on the phone works fine, also the Tethering (Android 2.1+ is USB, Android 2.3+ is Bluetooth, too) is useful for me.
I paid only 110EUR for such a stunning device... it was the last I expected that this phone is that awesome.

Contact LG by E-mail to request them daily for the 2.2 Android update.
In Koreea the update is ready.

Dude, this phone rocks, now that I've upgraded it battery life has tripled (though the phone is a bit slower), and it has a nice and slick feel to the GUI
and the best part is the price, it comes very cheep

this is the worth phone i buy it it CRAP
there's no upgrade >1.6 or more
alot of problems
he can stay 2 days and all this things is off(gps,3g,vibartion,reduse screen brights,wifi,bluethooth)
you can send any kind of file from this to other one !! only if you dl some app from andriod market
some new phone from this LG gw620 don't have andriod market on the phone !!!!!! :@
in camera it take 3,4 sec to open it 2.3 sec to caputer the image and no zoom ! "coz software"

karl, 18 Feb 2011does the camera have "image stabilizer" ?Very god camera for a good price phone. I even took pictures of computer screen when I needed at work some quick proof in a meeting :) Is has Macro, Auto-Focus,etc

I am on my second handset because I had the first one replaced and it is just as glitchy and horrible as the first one. I really want to love this phone but it has been nothing but a headache. It crashes all the time, if I put the screen timeout on it will randomly shut itself off when it times out, after almost every sent or received txt msg the messaging force closes, my contacts won't stay open long enough for me to get past the "f" entries, my apps randomly close and not from me accidently touching the home or back buttons (which took a while to get used to as they are right on the corners of the face),the keyboard will stop working, my sound stops working, if I try and turn the wifi off it will crash, I have to charge it every 6 hrs at least and I'm talking from dead(5-10%) to full. If anyone knows some kind of solution to my issues other than updating the phone's firmware or replacing the sim or getting a replacement phone or factory reseting the handset as I have already tried all of these, then please tell me since I appear to be stuck with this phone now. Oh ya, it's ridiculously slow too.

hi everyone.im on my 2nd gw620 coz the 1st one crashed,so they gave me a new one.i really love this phone and wanna keep it,but now im having a new problem with the new one.the touchscreen seems to be not well calibrated.when i touch one app, the other app beside it opens up.when i want to zoom in the maps,it zooms out.can someone please help me out? thanks.

LG official website has been updated to the latest firmware of the LG GW620. The LG GW620 users should upgrade your handsets to the latest firmware, before you can upgrade your phone, you have to make sure you have install the USB Driver and you have to install the LG Mobile Support Tool application on your computer in advance. and the most important thing is to make sure you have backed up all your files before upgrading. Then connect you LG GW620 via USB cable to computer and start the upgrading. The update takes approx 10-30 minutes and during the upgrading the phone is automatically reset.
