So, they asked the dealer to give me a new cell. And see the cleverness of the local dealer. He gave me another LG GX 300. When i checked it at my home, it was a used set. Again the same problem. No browsers could be loaded on it. I am feeling really helpless. Why can't people be honest?

For the last 10 days, my cell is lying unconscious in some service centre. The concerned incharge is giving a new excuse every day. I regret buying this phone.

Yours is bricked after 20 days?!? So you are saying I have only 13-14 days before mine goes to rest in peace :P.

There you see call recording option.Click it. It gets recorded.Give it a try. My cell fell sick within 20 days. Doctors of "LG" have promised a replacement in case their life saving equipments fail to give it a new life.

neha, 09 Oct 2010why not worth the cost... by features it looks better than ... moreIts just my personal experience dear. You may go ahead and buy one for yourself. I have used phones of all branded companies(you also must have done so) and so the only good thing i noticed in this phone is that its a dual sim. Within 20 days, the mike went off. No browsers could be loaded on it. You can not remove recently called numbers from the list. and there are so many other things which i encountered. Still, you may like it Neha.

I can afford buying a new one but I'll stick with it for a while to give it a chance. May be I'll discover something else that I would like about it (yeah right :P). I just wanted to share 1st hand information about this phone for other users that hesitate whether to buy it or not. At the end everyone decides for him/her-self. ;)
Here is a hint if you notice the same bug I told you about earlier. Have at least 1 contact saved to the phone if you want all contacts to be shown and searched out. ;)
About the question "does it has call conversation recording facility?". Although this phone has recording capabilities I couldn't activate it during a call. I even don't have the option to go to the main menu, but only to contacts.
