It is not only dual standby,
but also
dual active
it means that if you're talking on one SIM and someone calls you on the other, you can answer the 2nd call and the person doesn't hear a "phone offline sound").
I'm quite happy with this GX500.
Of course, it isn't a smartphone, so you can't expect multitasking or anything like it, but it does what I need on a secondary phone - calls, sms and mms and a decent battery.
I use it as a free time phone, my main one is the HTC Legend (Android 2.2) and of course it is kinda stupid to compare these two mobiles.
If I didn't need internet access everywhere, fast and reliable mail, .doc and excel editor and at least a 5MP camera for work, I would use this LG GX500 all the time.

1)nds free set should be atleast somemore lengthy with made from some hard material otherwise just if i use littlebit ruff there is a chances of breakage
2)there is no facility to change stations of FM Radio only to receive a call.
3)There is no option to feed channel names as in micromax Q3,otherwise its very difficult to identify a channel just by freequency no.s
4)Screen Should be wider in lengthwise and widthwise so that it will be easy to browsing Internet.Also by that it is very happy to the user to use a set.
5)Sound loudness and vibrations should be more, if we are in rush bus,inside the machineshop where so many sounded machinesare runing at a time, suppose if we wear a formals otherthan jeans,then definitely it is very difficlt to get know msgs or calls whatevr it may be.
6)u r not provide a atleast ordinary pouch with the set,eventhough v r investing such huge amount, it may be fullmonth salary, then how can i say our set is safe.Again we have to waste somemore days simply for searching suitable pouch for the set.
7)These are all the -ve things regarding the set,otherthan that the set is really very good and also attactive by outlook,its very oficial look colour and all using of grey and black is really decent colour, after taking a picture by camera its looks like a dull, i mean brightness will not appear .
8)is there any navigation options?i vl tel u some more after usage of some more days.

It doesnt play mp4, flv and host lot of other video files that lower cadre phones have made standard and it is quite slow.
