FULL REVIEW:

I owned this phone for 3 years before upgrading to Samsung Galaxy S8. Physical durability was surprizingly good, survived 2 new houses, only cracked after throwing it across a parking lot accidentally when stepping out of my vehicle. It did scratch up though with coins and keys in my pocket. I do not use a case. Screens are pretty cheap and replacing it is fairly easy, but battery is annoyingly glued in which makes it more difficult. All the screws are the same size and there is no soldering required to replace any component other than chips on the motherboard or charging port. Pretty similar inside to samsung phones from S6 to S10. Back is clipped on instead of glued, and plastic so it won't crack likr glass or bend like metal. 9/10

Screen has decent colours and viewing angles are not a problem, but it is only 30hz and pixel response times aren't great, meaning it will not feel smooth to use. Scrolling looks bad. It is LCD also meaning black levels aren't great, nighttime use makes it look more dark grey than black, but its far from the worst backlight ever. Ok for watching movies, bad for normal phone usage. 8/10

Rear cameras are pretty bad. Decent saturation. In daylight they look great, but it takes a ridiculously long time to focus. Anything indoor is grainy and not much detail in shadows. Nighttime is just dark grey TV static. Capturing anything moving without blur is not possible. Not much DOF. No OIS either. Don't zoom in unless you want blurry image. Kind of like iPhone 6 camera quality. 5/10

This phone suffers most from VERY little RAM. I usually debloat all my phones with ADB commands, including all the google and facebook apps. Even then 3 tabs of Firefox is the most it can do without having to refresh background tabs. This is with uBlock on Firefox set up pretty strict. I also kept this phone on Android 10 instead of updating it so experience on later versions might be better, or probably worse since they need more RAM. Runs Minecraft ok at 6 chunk distance. Its not super slow to open most things like some really cheap phones (Blu Advance L5) I've used, but large apps need a few seconds to come up. 3/10

Battery is great actually despite being only 3000mAh. Lasts me about a day and a half with light usage (less than 4 hours a day). Nothing like those Ulefone Power Armor phones though. 8/10

This phone has a relatively large bezel around the screen which is good because you don't accidentally touch it with your finger. It is a smaller phone but not small enough for 1 hand use. Back is plastic which is easy to hold on to and doesn't get all slippery after fingerprints. The paint on the plastic does wear off over time though and the back scratches easily. 8/10

Speaker quality is terrible, scratchy, distorted, and not really that loud. 2/10

For the price of $140 CAD I payed for it, it was way more worth it for me to buy a used S8, which I finally did and its SO much better. S7, S9 and S10 are great too.

    Lol this phone soon bad. It litterly has less battery than an 2013 budget. BUDGET😡 Lg G pro Lite Dual.

      Pokemon go crashed my phone and I broke it after half an hour of waiting, the back cameras are nice though, especially for what they were asking for it

                      The phone is completely fine, there are a few lags here and there, but for the price it's a decent phone. The battery is super good compared to other phones with the same capacity but the RAM is disappointing.

                        Whatever you're watching on your phone will be "mirrored" to your TV. It's like looking in a mirror because the objects will be reversed

                          In Canada, Telus offers lg k31 to low income seniors. The wifi disconnects 3 or 4 times/day, when I call someone they can't hear me with speakerphone on, the phone sees only 2.4 GHz wifi, etc etc.
                          Telus gives me 3gb data, but useless LG K31 phone. Anybody else have these problems?

                            I do not recommend the phone unless they sell it second hand, it has many failures with the touch (lag) the processor is fine but it is not a big deal and the automatic camera is disgusting (the worst camera I would say), it has a micro usb port which would be perfect a C port (come on lg gives something good at least) the audio is distorted a lot even at medium volumes. I have not found ways to enter the recovery mode and there is no way to enter through videos since the phone has no development, something that bothers me is that the phone has a 64-bit processor but the operating system is in mode 32 bits and with 1 core disabled.

                              Anyone know the difference between this and the K32? It seems like they're basically the same phone but the K32 sells here for $130 and the K31 for $160

                                Just got this it's good for the price if u choose inexpensive phones . Nice to have memory card slow very important. I wish it had international support but most carriers don't work overseas. Another thing would be if it had dual sims. I would love a dual SIM phone so u have personal and business in one place. Maybe it's not a big deal. The metal case makes weight distribution a lil weird I think if u drop or fall asleep on phone u get a case that's shock proof.
